'True Blood' star defects to 'Good Wife'

I hope this doesn’t mean what I think it means.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Carrie Preston — a.k.a. True Blood’s Arlene — is heading to CBS’ The Good Wife for a multi-episode arc. She’ll play Elsbeth Mann (not a typo), a member of Peter’s (Chris Noth) legal team.

The timing of Preston’s casting is sure to raise questions about the fate of her True Blood character, particularly since the HBO smash is in the midst of shooting its third season in Los Angeles. The Good Wife, meanwhile, is based in New York.

Well i don;t know how Alan has writ-
ten the eps.i would think Arlene may
be in one eps. at the start and one at the end this season because i
think that is all she is in,in Club
Dead which would leave her to be free
to do the other show. But good for her
if she can go from one side of the
US to the other and do both.

Gosh, I love Arlene! I hope she is not gone for good. It's just impossible to predict what's going to happen.
