True Blood AND HBO Go Apps Available On Your iPad and iPhone On May 2nd

HBO GO joined the online video streaming experience last year when it started bringing pay TV content to your PC. The service provides HBO subscribers access to hundreds of titles including HBO Original Series, movies, sports, and all of it comes in high-quality HD.
If that wasn’t enough, HBO has now teased us with a new video that shows the company’s streaming service hitting tablets and smartphones early next month.
HBO is planning to release apps for Apple’s iOS, as well as Android-based devices. The video below appeared on HBO’s YouTube channel, and teases us with the promise of allowing subscribers to enjoy “all your favorite HBO series, movies and more” with unlimited access to all HBO content.
The TV industry keeps leveraging online streaming services. It is definitely a way to bring additional value to subscribers and the millions that have embraced the new tablet era. HBO’s latest move is certainly a great way to show its subscribers that paid TV content can be made available almost everywhere you go.
The HBO GO apps and streaming service will be free of charge to HBO subscribers. According to the video, the HBO GO service and iOS apps will be released on May 2nd.
I can’t wait to get instant and unlimited access to Game of Thrones and the upcoming season of True Blood, conveniently from my iPad. Stay tuned, we will take a closer look at HBO GO on iOS devices as soon as it hits the market.
