Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer Are Engaged!

People Mag. needs to correct this article, we know from many other articles that they have not just been together since Feb 24th 2009.
Just sayin'

It's true love for True Blood couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. The two are engaged to be married, reps for both actors on the HBO vampire series confirm to PEOPLE exclusively.

No further details were available.

The two have been together since Feb. 24 of this year. Paquin, who plays telepathic Sookie Stackhouse on True Blood, is originally from New Zealand and won a 1994 Supporting Actress Oscar for her role as the precocious child in The Piano.

Moyer, from Essex, England, plays bloodsucking Bill Compton on the series. He also has two children from previous relationships: a son, Billy, born in 2000, and a daughter, Lilac, born in 2002.

Last month, Paquin, 27, said of her nude love scenes with Moyer, 39: "Obviously, if you're already with that person then you're not having to sort of get over the 'Wow, I'm naked with someone that I don't even know the middle name of!'"

For his part, Moyer has said of his lady love, "My girl is hardcore.

Yikes, he is too old for her.
Anna should be with a man no older than let's say 33 and closer to the height of 6'4" and blond! *giggle*

Congratulations. I love these two together.

the blond 6'4" is so boring in interviews. i don't even thing anna really noticed him especially in that comic con interview.

i guess alex is just really boring and not the eric people see on tv

He's not boring. It seems like he doesn't like being the center of attention. And if you noticed in the comic con interviews and other interviews it seems Anna refrains from making eye contact with Alex. If you watch carefully it appears like she uncomfortable with the situation. Possibly because in the book Sookie does end up with Eric at one point. I know True Blood will not follow the books. But if you read the books their relationship (Eric&Sookie) is a big part of the stories. It will be hard for True Blood to avoid.

And if you read Anna comment about doing the love scenes. She did mention it is easier to do the scenes with Stephen due to their relationship.

I wish them all the best.
But really do hope that their relationship won't interfere with the show.

I would be surprised if their relationship outlasts the show more than 2 years.

Hollywood relationships go faster than a fritter at a fat farm.

I think it's quite childish to wish REAL people ill, simply because you don't want the characters they play on a television show to end up together.

Stephan and Anna have been together for 2 years, since the auditions for the show. I think they've got a great chance of making this work and I wish them, as I do any couple embarking on the great adventure of marriage, the very best of luck and a long and happy future together.

Congrats to the happy couple. I wish them many, many happy years together. Aside from that, they're professional actors so their personal lives won't have an effect on the show. Alan Ball will determine where he wants things to go and the actors will follow.

=^..^=

Wow instant family with kids with different moms that the dad never married and she is so young. Lets hope it lasts and doesnt mess up the show.

Avoids eye contact is probably because Anna didn't really have any connection with Alex. Also, I think you are bringing your book bias into reality which is just psychotic. Get help because wishing ill will for complete strangers based on fictional characters is just plain stupid.
