True Blood: this was not the first time we've had a hint at Sookie's " powers"

Watch the full length video of the unaired True Blood pilot.

This episode includes the other actress as Tara (Brook Kerr) instead of Rutina Wesley.

You will also see the "blue eyes ladies in the woods" (who we think might be Claudine, her fae cousin ) during the Sookie/ Mack Rattray fight this was taken out. The effect wasn't taken out in the uncanny ability with the chain.

This episode also has missing scenes and has very different music.

    Lizzy Caplan played Jason's girlfriend last season, not Tara in the original pilot.

    Aw, can't see the pilot or the YouTube clip :/. Although I DID see the pilot once, the first time it aired and don't remember seeing the woman in the woods, darn it! I did have the displeasure of seeing 'Tara 1.0' and she was horrible, in my opinion.

    Though Claudine being there does explain how the chain wrapped around the Rattray's neck! It's always bothered me that there was no explanation for that. Til now.

    Rita, I always thought that Bill seen her too. When they cut it out though it just looks like he is looking at Sookie. Probably would have spoiled to much for people that were not book fans. Either that or confused them a lot... lol 'Why is there a woman dressed up in the woods?' That would have been ever where.
