Vampire Wars: Who's the Best Evil (Yet Hot) Vampire?

And you’re what, shocked and disappointed? I’m evil." —Spike

From EOnline

Vampire Wars continues! As we explained earlier this week, we've decided that, structurally speaking, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, True Blood and The Vampire Diaries are all the same show. Girl meets soft-hearted vampire, girl enters bizarre world of the occult, girl gets mixed up in some stuff, girl hooks up with hard-bodied other vampire, wackiness (and bloody good scandal) ensues.

But which of those wicked, supersexy vamps is the best? It's time to decide who's the best evil (yet hot) TV series vampire, and you have to make the nearly impossible choice between James Marsters' bitingly funny Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Alex Skarsgård's Viking vampire Eric Northman on True Blood, and Ian Somerhalder's devilish Damon on The Vampire Diaries.

there might be some polling going on too ;-)

That wasn't really tough for me. Even though I loved Spike, I was always crazy about Angel, who was nothing like Bill, other than dark hair. But now I'm crazy about Eric and indifferent to Bill.

So Go Team Eric!

Hey Rita, I didn't mean to post that twice. I'm not sure what I did. I hope Dallas will fix it.

But really, I never cared for Spike like I do Eric. My fascination at that time was all for Angel. kDon't get me wrong, I liked Spike a lot, but he was no Angel or Eric.

my man-love for spike goes well beyond how bad ass i think a Norse Vampire is. after all it hard to top...

Spike: [as Rachel] How can I thank you, you mysterious black-clad hunk of a night thing?
Spike: [as Angel] No need, little lady, your tears of gratitude are enough for me. You see, I was once a badass vampire, but love and a pesky curse defanged me. And now, I'm just a big, fluffy puppy with bad teeth. No, not the hair. Never the hair.

Mitchell,

I love those parts. No doubt Spike was a comic genius as well as a badass vampire. Trust me, I am a huge Buffy/Angel fan. I have 2 sets of both series on DVD (second set procured on sale to insure I was never missing a disc). As soon as TB was over, we started right into season 1 of Buffy. But Eric, both of the books and the tv series, is now my hero and I had to vote for him.

But we'll watch James Marsters even if he's in a cheesy SyFy movie!
