What ????! "Ball also hinted that he is committed to the series even though his contract is expected to end next year and he is working on a new pilot for HBO."

"The darker, the odder, the weirder, the better for me," he said. "It can be pure chewing gum for the audience if you want it to be. If you want to look deeper, it's all under there."

Ball also hinted that he is committed to the series even though his contract is expected to end next year and he is working on a new pilot for HBO.

"Having this much fun in your job is rare," he explained. "And I know it. I don't know if that's something I would necessarily walk away from.

'True Blood': Is this the best Eric's ever looked?

Everything looks better in the King of Mississippi’s mansion, including Eric, who donned this cashmere V-neck J. Crew sweater in last night’s episode. (Yeah, I asked HBO.) Now I would say my appreciation for this look was enhanced by my extreme dislike of his hair in the Viking flashback, but we saw the sweater first and I immediately swooned. Is this the hottest Eric has ever looked?

Dracula: The Roots of the Vampire Romance

I wrote Dracula, My Love, the story of Mina Harker's secret, passionate romance with Dracula, because I knew--I just knew--that Mina didn't tell the entire story in that journal of hers. I mean, let's be honest. If you were Dracula, and you could morph into a wolf, vanish through a crack, materialize out of mist, and grow younger at will, would you appear in the bedchamber of the woman you wished to woo as a fiendish, old monster? I think not. You'd present your youngest, most handsome and charming self, just as the vampire women at your castle appeared to Jonathan as ravishing beauties.
If you ask me, there was a whole lot more going on in that bedchamber than Mina revealed. It's easy to see why. Mina was admired and respected by her husband and all the men in her life, considered the epitome of Victorian innocence and virtue. If Mina fell madly, scandalously in love with the vampire they were all trying to destroy, do you think she would have admitted it to them? Or to Bram Stoker, for that matter?

True Blood just vampire texted to say it loves you, motherf%*#er

Team Talk Blood Meredith talks about this weeks episode !

Curious about vampire texting habits? Of course you are. Watch Franklin speed text, Tara get smacked down by an actual wolf, sticky vampire burn face, and how to talk Cheetah all in one ridiculously over-stuffed episode of True Blood.

Wow, so that was a whole lot of nothing dotted by highlights of adorable Franklin Mott banter, culminating in about 10 minutes of pure, uncut, take it straight up the nose and into your brain insanity. Which is exactly how I like it.

This episode may have seemed like a mere a setup for the return of Sookie's magical light. But in reality, it was Franklin who carried this week's fun all on his narrow little shoulders. Meanwhile Tara got tackled by a werewolf, which was fantastically rewarding. And a bunch of other junk happened. But let me give it to you Pro Con style.

Pro: Talbot is clearly the stepmother to Franklin's fatheresque relationship with the King of Mississippi. It's a perfect blend of hatred, disrespect and catty undermining quibbles. I like this dynamic.
