CAMBRIDGE, Ontario, Canada—True Blood fans (Trubies) were glued to their television sets last weekend for the HBO hit series’ season finale which featured a Coquette Masquerade costume. Actress Lauren Bowles’ character Holly Cleary was shown wearing the Fairy costume, model M6033, from the Masquerade Collection.

“It is extremely exciting and flattering to see one of your creations come to life on such a well-known and popular hit series,” said Elaine Carson, senior designer. “As a designer this is a fabulous way for our work to be recognized and is quite rewarding.”

The piece is intricately made with varying layers of sheer nylon and topped off with an embroidered layer with ribbon and sequin appliqué. This costume was designed with the inspiration to be light, playful and youthful and when worn in this episode by Bowles’ character, the piece offers her a truly feminine appeal.

The Masquerade Collection is filled with a variety of costumes for Halloween and special occasions. In addition to fantasy and fairy tale costumes such as the Fairy, the collection ranges from career themes, animals, costumes for couples and role-play outfits.

Coquette’s Main Collection features various corsets similar to those famously worn by the character Jessica Hambe played by actress Deborah Ann Woll. This collection is comprised of a variety of styles of lingerie. Known for its unique craftsmanship of corsets, Coquette offers numerous styles, colors and sizes to choose from, and designs them with comfort and movement in mind.

Coquette is thrilled to have one of their popular costumes featured on the much watched series and expect that the Fairy costume will be in high demand for Halloween this year. With a significant array of costumes and fetish wear in the Darque Collection, all the Trubies out there will find it easy to recreate their favorite look from the show.
