True Blood’s Deborah Ann Woll on Vampire Tears, Jason Stackhouse, and Her Real-Life Teen Rebellion

At the tender age of 17, True Blood's quasi-innocent vampire Jessica Hamby has studied up on carnal knowledge, killed a horny trucker, and attacked her boyfriend's mom. But this works out just fine for Deborah Ann Woll, the actress who plays her, who gets to live out all her unfulfilled adolescent angst. Vulture phoned Woll for more details on her character's season-four exploits, then got to the bottom of other pressing matters, such as her favorite flavor of blood and her policy on biting folks for a photo op.
Part of being a vampire is being loyal to your maker. How would you defend your character's maker, Bill Compton, who's become a jerky politician?
He's under incredible pressure. And he has some incredibly powerful people making decisions for him. I think Bill is as disappointed with that as we are. Bill is really alone now. He doesn't have a family except Jess, and I think it's really wonderful that this season they get to [bond] quite a bit. Because things aren't going so great with [her human boyfriend] Hoyt, [Bill] is all that she has.

Carrie Preston Exclusive: True Blood Star Teases Mysterious Figure, Convergence of Storylines

We sorted out a little about Mavis ( the mystery woman) yesterday here

There's no longer a question over whether or not Sookie and Eric will have sex on True Blood. That act took place on last Sunday's "I Wish I Was the Moon."
But there is a pressing issue stemming from that episode: Who the heck was that person standing on the lawn outside of Arlene and Terry's burned-down house? The one, seemingly, seen by only their (possessed?) baby?
"That's not the last that we'll see of her," Carrie Preston teased to me today. "And it will affect other storylines, as well. From there, the show goes to an interesting place it hasn't gone to before."

Charlaine Harris Announces 3-book Graphic Novel Series: Cemetery Girl

Again the wonderful MCDallas , board moderator for CH community board told us about this Sunday night on Talk Blood Radio.

Harris does have one project already in the pipeline taking take her into unexplored territory: comic books. “I’m going to be working on a graphic novel next,” she reveals. “I’m very excited about that. It’s called Cemetery Girl with Christopher Golden, and it’s a very exciting opportunity.” Harris first envisioned the storyline – which centers on a woman who finds herself living in a cemetery with no memory of her past but a clear sense of a mysterious threat hanging over her – as a traditional novel, but back-burnered it until horror and fantasy author Golden, who’s penned prose adventures of characters like Hellboy and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, convinced her it would be a perfect fit for the graphic novel format.

If Claudine had to go ...I can almost handle it if she goes to Sherlock BBC

Its OK , Claude is going to replace Claudine as Sookie's Faerie godmother and remember they are triplets so we also see Claudette.

I really don't watch too much Teevee- amazing huh ?But there are a few recent series I WOULD highly recommend and they are in this order

1. Sherlock BBC ( see on Masterpiece Mystery PBS)
2. Being Human UK see on BBC America
3. Being Human US on SyFy US

Sherlock is my favorite thing I've seen on TV this year and Being Human S3 has BLOWN me away this summer. I'm excite to see Lara Pulver and I'm thinking of starting Robin Hood-so I'll be happy to get to see more of her.

We've got some hot off the press casting news for series two of Sherlock for you, right here...
It’s been all quiet on the Sherlock series two news front for a while, as the shoot for the three new 90 minute adventures continues. But, having just got back from the Cardiff set of the production, we can confirm a brand new piece of casting news.

Lara Pulver, who has previously been seen in the likes of True Blood (where she played Claudine Crane) and Robin Hood (Isabella), has been cast in the role of Irene Adler.

Irene Adler is, of course, a romantic interest of sorts for Sherlock, although we’ve got few clues thus far as to how Steven Moffat will be approaching the character. It’s Moffat who has written the first episode of Sherlock series 2, A Scandal In Belgravia, which is set to feature the character of Adler, we understand.

Pulver, incidentally, is also appearing in the tenth series of Spooks.

There'll be more news on Sherlock as we get it. Having seen around 15-20 minutes of footage from the new series, though, we can say thus far that there’s much to look forward to...
