Scandinavian Christmas' (in honor of my besottedness with Alexander Skarsgard)

Amelia blogs ...I'm in charge of dinner this year and after much thought (5 minutes) I've decided to theme it `A Scandinavian Christmas' (in honor of my besottedness with Alexander Skarsgard). I've plans for ham and poached salmon, red cabbage and schnapps

  1. Sounds nice but may i ask what does
    besottedness mean?

  2. It means she is drunk on her love for him, not on alcohol. That she is obsessed and crazy with her love for him. Does this sound like some others we know, maybe even someone we see when we look in the mirror???

  3. OK! Sharon it does sound like that,
hope you are ok. Is it May or June
    yet?

  4. Not yet, but I got my director's cut of Terminator Salvation in the mail today, so I've got something to keep my attention for a bit. Christian Bale is no AS, but he's not bad.

I also had Combat Jack, ep 4 from GK in today while I was doing other stuff. Just stop and watch the AS parts. Lots of no shirt parts in this ep. Sigh!

  6. I tried to watch VD again last night. It just seems too much like Gossip Girl (which I've never actually watched, to be honest) with vampires. I just can't seem to stay focused. The week of Dec 14 they are supposed to show all 10 episodes, 2 each night. I'll try again.

    Did you watch Blood Ties?

I'm getting the complete Farscape series for Christmas.

  9. OK, Dallas, I'll try again during the marathon. But remember, I know where to find you! Well, sort of.

Rita, Terminator Salvation was great and introducing a new actor, Sam Worthington. He pretty much stole the show from Christian Bale, IMO. He's in Avatar also, opening today. And is the star of Clash of the Titans in March. Looks great!

    What's Orphan about?

  15. Rita, you can find Blood Ties on both Hulu.com and MyLifetime.com and watch them for free. There are only 2 seasons and they cost about $20 each on Amazon. Let me know if you see this and if not, I'll leave it again in a later posting.
