A new blood-inspired perfume may soon have an ideal group of early adopters: vampires.
Last week, a pair of Italian entrepreneurs, Antonio Zuddas and Giovanni Castelli, debuted Blood Concept, a provocative fragrance line based on the four major human blood types: A, B, AB and O.
While the line forgoes incorporating actual blood, the Italian duo nonetheless claim that each scent is evocative of the blood type it represents.

Asked and Answered | Deborah Ann Woll
The young actress Deborah Ann Woll cut her teeth — err, fangs — as the innocent Christian turned insidious vampire Jessica Hamby on HBO’s “True Blood” (Season 4 starts in June). Woll, 26, hails from Brooklyn but currently lives in Los Angeles, where she recently completed filming on “Someday This Pain Will Be Useful To You,” a coming-of-age story based on a teenage novel of the same name by Peter Cameron. The Moment recently e-mailed Woll to talk work (vampires, snakes) and play (home improvement and carpentry).

Charlaine Harris to make special Michigan Theater appearance for new novel 'Dead Reckoning'
It's the finale — and the only Michigan appearance planned — for a publicity tour surrounding the release of her upcoming novel "Dead Reckoning." The book, on sale May 3, is the 11th installment in the ultra-popular Sookie Stackhouse vampire fiction series, which is the inspiration for the HBO phenomenon "True Blood."

Last year, Harris' novel "Dead in the Family," of the same series, sold 200,000 copies in its first week on sale and debuted in the #1 slot on both the New York Times and USA Today best-seller lists. In October 2008, she became the only author to have an entire series place on the New York Times best-seller lists simultaneously. There are currently more than 20 million copies of the ten-book series in print.
The event will be the finale of a nationwide tour for the new novel. Harris will discuss the new book and popular series, followed by a moderated audience Q&A. A book signing will follow for anyone who purchases the title through the advance ticket offer via ticketweb.com or from Nicola's Books on-site that evening.

True Blood' Star Stephen Moyer Flips Car in Dramatic Racetrack Mishap
Anna Paquin breathed a sigh of relief on Friday after her husband and 'True Blood' co-star, Stephen Moyer, survived a dangerous crash behind the wheel of a race car in Southern California.
The 41-year-old actor rushed to be a guest driver at the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race, according to RadarOnline, on very little sleep.
Before the race, Moyer had reportedly been working on the set of HBO's 'True Blood' until 6 a.m. Friday, after which his only downtime was one hour of sleep that morning, plus a power nap around lunchtime Friday.
Moyer's crash occurred after a sharp bend when his car plowed into a tire barrier, rolling his car. The Long Beach Press-Telegram reports that his vehicle did a 360-degree flip before landing back on its tires. Moyer walked away, uninjured, and even gave a thumbs-up to the crowd.
He later told the press, "I want to apologize to the rest of the drivers for ruining everyone's qualifying session."
