“True Blood” Sucker Punch: Season 3, Ep. 8

Team Talk Blood member Mark Blankenship's " Sucker Punch " for Ep 8

True Blood races back to form with “Night on the Sun,” an episode that returns us to the season’s fascination with the unavoidable sacrifice of love.

This time, though, the iris expands so that we can see the sacrifices of love compared to the casualties of lust. And because the results in both cases tend to be violent,  we’re asked to consider how similar the two impulses really are—how a visceral passion is sometimes just filled with viscera, no matter how we define it.

To drive that point home, this episode bursts with characters who are hunting. And I don’t mean “hunting for meaning in their lives.” I mean they are actually hunting other living creatures, be they wolves, humans, shifters, or Sookie.
The addition of all this hunting—and in some cases, the capturing—feels absolutely appropriate for this point in the season. There are only four episodes left, so now’s the time to make good on the promises of action we’ve gotten all summer. Now’s the time for the cocked pistols to be fired, and the results are exhilarating.

Go ask Dallas ? True Blood Porn ? Yes, Tru: A XXX Parody

Anyone know more about True Blood porn ?  Wait, did I say that ? Anna talks with Lopez about True Blood porn video and that they gave all the cast members a copy as a wrap gift.

Anna has said in an earlier interview that they all watched this trailer on set ...
Anna Paquin has admitted that she thought the porn parody of True Blood was funny.
Paquin, who plays Sookie in the HBO show, explained that someone showed her the promo for the explicit film.
Speaking to Self, she said: "How funny is that? Someone brought their computer to set and we all watched the trailer for it. We all think it's hilarious!"
However, Paquin added that she was surprised someone thought it was necessary to make a pornographic version of the show.
"There are those who might say our show didn't really need to have a porn parody because we do a pretty good job," she joked. "How much racier can it get? Well, obviously it can, but you know."

Tru: A XXX Parody
The official summary: The simple life is shaken when death comes to the small, quiet Louisiana town of Bon Temps -- where civilians, vampires, shape-shifters, and mind readers clash in an orgy of sex & mystery. When a dead body is found with the heart ripped out, local waitress, Sookie (Ashlynn Brooke), who has a talent for reading minds, her best friend, Tara (Misty Stone), and her Vampire boyfriend, Bill (James Deen), try to unravel the supernatural web and find the murderer. Sookie and her friends find themselves pushing all their limits, both mentally and sexually, in a climax you'll have to see to believe!

True Blood is STILL Killing It!

Exactly one year ago today, I took an in depth look at different pieces of HBO’s integrated marketing campaign for True Blood. The show is now in its third season and HBO is still continuing to make the vampire world of Bon Temps a reality. Just when I thought I couldn’t possibly love their marketing any more, they bring in baby vamp Jessica and her blog.
Background for those who have still not seen the show: Jessica Hamby is a new vampire (hence the “baby vamp” nickname) who was turned (i.e. made into a vampire) at only age 17. She is struggling both with her new-found undead status as well as your typical teenage woes.

First of all, Jessica is the perfect character to have an online blog. She is probably one of the least complicated and most relate-able characters on the show. And we know that the Internet is the perfect place for a 17 year old to pour her (non beating) heart out. She is the most believable, even in the most ridiculous situations. Her panic in hiding/disposing of a dead body before maker/homeowner Bill finds out was actually quite similar to trying to clean up after a party before your parents get home. We feel for her as she struggles to find love and acceptance, something we all understand, living or not.

It's a bird , it's a plane, it's Alcide ? Joe as superman !

IN DECEMBER 2012, a new Superman will soar on to the big screen, with Christopher Nolan producing and his brother Jonathan Nolan teaming up with David Goyer to write the screenplay.
At one point it was said Chris Columbus (Harry Potter 1 & 2, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief) was offered the chance to direct but that proved to be a baseless rumour and it seems Jonathan Nolan is in line to helm the feature in what would be his directing debut.
The one major missing ingredient is who will be playing the new Clark Kent/Superman.
But that hasn't stopped the speculation. Here we take a look at the candidates and give you the chance to vote on your favourite.
Chuck star Zachary Levi was said to have auditioned for the role, but he later dismissed the reports, telling IGN: "It's complete fiction. I start getting these text messages from my friends, saying 'What is going on? You didn't tell us any of this!' And I'm asking, 'What are you talking about?'"

True Blood : Spoiler chat from Kristin

From Kristin EOnline

Rebecca in Los Angeles: How about some True Blood scoop? The last two episodes were crazy-ass good! Will we be seeing more of Hadley?
I know! Emphasis on the crazy and the ass. I think I've learned more about human anatomy from True Blood than in all my previous science classes combined. Thanks, Professor Ball! Anyhoo, I'm hearing that True Blood is expandin their "Fairy World" set, which I assume (whomp me over the head if I'm being dense) was the heaven-like world we saw in Sookie's near-death experience in last week's show? Also, I'm pretty sure there are vampires on this show, but don't quote me on that. Also, I'm told Alan Ball is now prepping to shoot his new pilot All Signs of Death on the same studio lot as True Blood, so we can look forward to more good TV—and hopefully no less involvement from A.B. on T.B.

Kaycee in Tampa, Fla.: On True Blood, I'm loving that Hadley is getting more screen time. Will we be seeing more of her?
What in fang's name is she hiding from Sookie?! Well if you want just one more week, little ol' Hadley will be introducing her cousin to another family member. Lindsey Braun also tells us that she's really enjoying exploring her sexuality on the show, so we'll no doubt see more of Hadley and the Queen in weeks to come. Just when you thought Bon Temps couldn't get any hotter...

Humphrey in N.J.: Are Sam's parents gone for good on True Blood?
If you like your shifters dark and dangerous, keep a close eye on Sam Merlotte. This guy is headed for a serious freakout...and it ain't gonna be pretty.
