Congrats to Kristin ( Vampire Pam ) Bauer and new hubby

Kristin Bauer who plays 'Pam the Vampire' on True Blood got married this past weekend to her boyfriend musician, Abri van Straten, on her family’s farm in Wisconsin.

You can send here best wishes through her website here

She writes about Abri and marriage on her website here :

Yes, that's right folks. I hunted down a man, chained him to my radiator, or coffee machine, and now that the Stockholm syndrome has finally kicked in, he has actually submitted to marriage...to me! AND he even seems thrilled about it. Here's how it all happened:
Once upoon a time way back on Dec 18, 2008, I was watching another romantically unfulfilling year draw to a close as I dragged my body off to my nutritionist's office to get a B-12 shot hoping that it could make up for all else that was lacking in my Holiday cheer. I entered the waiting room and sat down on something with pointy corners and said, "Ouch!"
I pulled a CD out from under my butt and then said, "Who's is this?" The lady next to me chirped, "It's mine! Wanna hear it?!"I was't in the mood but she turned it up anyway."
And THAT is why there is a page on my website and a ring on my finger. At that very moment, that man serenading me through the strange ladies laptop, was sitting on the other side of LA wondering why the hell he was still here when his tour was done and his band, The Lemmings, had all gone back to South Africa.
I went home from my B-12 shot, bought his latest CD "Imperceptible Shift in the Light" on iTunes and for the next three weeks my entire family fell in love with his voice while I plotted a kidnapping. My devious plot centered around an email to the band's manager that ever so subtly name dropped this little tiny show about Vampires that maybe you've heard of and oh, I do have a website...all sorts Hollywood shenanigans that felt painfully obvious and embarrassing but what's a girl to do? I blame his accent. It really isn't fair!!!

Loving True Blood in Dallas blog helps solve the True Blood FotS church mystery for Arkansas Gazette

When the Arkansas Gazette starts asking me ' Go Ask Dallas' questions then I guess I know I've reached the big time . HA!

I can finally tell you who it was that asked last weeks " Go Ask Dallas" question. It was a question posed by a reporter from The Arkansas Gazette.

Kyle Brazzel knew right away that the structure shown as the Fellowship of the Sun Church in Episode 6 of True Blood was a building designed by famed architect and Arkansas native, Fay Jones -but which one ?

Because the Sookie Stackhouse book series author, Charlaine Harris is also an Arkansas resident, this was an important source of state pride and something they wanted to report on in for the largest newspaper in Arkansas and they wanted to get it right.

Here is where I posted my answer on the blog last week , and this is also what I sent to Kyle. He very nicely mentioned the blog in yesterday's write up in the Little Rock newspaper!

The amazing SkyRose Chapel at Rose Hills Memorial Park near Los Angeles ( Whittier) served as the stand-in for the FotS church in Dallas.

The chapel is one of the famous buildings designed by Arkansas native architect Fay Jones and it's gorgeous.

This was a "Go ask Dallas" question- I'll tell ya Sunday who asked

Go Ask Dallas : What are the board games Sookie discovers in the FotS basement??

You can't probably even pick these up at WalMart !

True Blood Sucker Punch: Episode 7 from Mark Blankenship

Our friend Mark Blankenship's episode 7 review on Huffington Post ( hilarious )

Note: This post contains spoilers

Welcome to Sucker Punch, the only blog post that ranks the gaudiest moments on this week's episode of True Blood.

---

(We begin with an argument already in progress)

Are you serious True Blood? Are you really going to spring Godric on me in the last moment of Episode 7 ("Release Me") and then cut to the credits? Don't you realize that I have to wait an entire week to see what happens next? God! Why are you... it's just... selfish!

Oh... hey everyone. Sorry. True Blood and I are having a lovers' quarrel. I mean, we've been dating for a while, and even though he's not the perfect boyfriend---Don't you roll your eyes at me! You're not!---um, anyway, even though he's not the perfect boyfriend, we usually get along great. But then he pulls this crap, where he teases me with things I love---chocolate covered peanuts, flavored seltzer, the long-awaited emergence of a vampire sheriff---and then hides them for days. It's mean, and I hate it. That's why I acted like I forgot his birthday last year.

You heard me! I was pretending I forgot! How did you like it? Wait... what? You're walking away? Where are you... ? I can't leave! I'm talking to these...

Okay. I'll deal with him in a second. Sorry.

The point is, this week's episode had some character inconsistencies, but in the end, it gave me an hour of zippy entertainment.

Like, I have to applaud when Hoyt seduces Jessica by decorating her hotel room with blood-scented candles and playing "Bleeding Love" by Leona Lewis. "Bleeding Love!" Even if Jessica were human, that's the exact song a softie like Hoyt would play for her. But because it mentions blood, he probably thinks cranking it on the stereo makes him extra smooth. Can't you just imagine a rack of "Bleeding Love" CD singles in the vampire hotel gift shop, and Hoyt buying one with a shy little grin? That's exactly who he is.
