Radcliffe turns vampire for The Simpsons
![]() |
In the spooky episode, part of animated TV show's annual Halloween 'Treehouse of Horror' series, the 21-year-old actor plays a mysterious youngster called Edmund, a reference to Robert Pattinson's role Edward in Twilight, reported Contactmusic.
Edmund falls in love with Lisa but his vampire ways are said to be foiled when he takes a bite out of Simpsons patriarch Homer and becomes ill from the large amounts of cholesterol in his blood.
The episode is set to air in the US in the coming weeks as part of the Halloween holiday at the end of the month.

CW Adapting Another Novel by 'The Vampire Diaries' Author
Author L.J. Smith is getting richer for one more of her books is adapted into a TV series by The CW. Smith is the author of "The Vampire Diaries" book series and she also wrote the trilogy "Secret Circle" which will soon be seen coming to life.
Like "Vampire Diaries", the book also has female lead character and takes on a supernatural theme. It follows 16-year-old Cassie, who moves from California to live with her mom in New Salem and falls in love with a mysterious boy named Adam. This plot is almost similar to that of Stephanie Meyer's "Twilight" where teen Bella moves to Forks, Washington to live with her dad and falls in love with a 104-year-old vampire named Edward.

Trammell unsure of 'True Blood' romance
True Blood star Sam Trammell has admitted that he doesn't know whether Sam's relationship with Bill will develop in the fourth season.
In one episode of the show, Sam had an erotic dream about Bill (Stephen Moyer).
However, Trammell told E! Online that he does not know if the connection will be explored any further.
"Probably episode one," he joked. "Are we really going to do it or are we going to puss out? Who knows? I still have vampire blood in me so anything could happen."
Trammell added that the cast will begin shooting the fourth season some time next month.

Charlaine Harris included on Entertainment Weekly list of '10 Power Authors'

EW points out that 27 books by Nora Roberts are sold every minute. Noting this fact on its website, Roberts’ Penguin Group (USA) publishers add that Roberts’ next book Happy Ever After, will be released next month. This work will conclude the author's Bride Quartet.
Nora Roberts is, of course, no stranger to lists of top performers. In 2009 the New Yorker hailed her as “America’s Most Popular Novelist.” In 2007, she was included in Time magazine’s list of the “100 Most Influential People.” She also appeared on Forbes’ list of the “100 Most Influential Celebrities” for both 2004 and 2005.
The Penguin Group's website also recognizes a second Penguin author whose name appears on the EW list – Charlaine Harris. EW points out that Harris is the only author who has ever had nine titles on the New York Times bestseller list simultaneously.
Harris is the author of the Sookie Stackhouse mysteries, which provide the basis for the hit HBO television series, True Blood, and the Harper Connelly mysteries, which may soon appear as a CBS series. Penguin refers readers to Death's Excellent Vacation, Harris’s most recent work, a short story collection she and Toni L. P. Kelner co-edited.

Sam Trammell, Kristin Bauer, Rutina Wesley True Blood Interviews
You know why I love covering the SCREAM Awards every year? I'll tell you why. It's because I get to talk to actors who I don't normally see at film premieres. Not all the celebs hit the red carpet at the 5th annual celebration of genres that don't normally get awards recognition, but the ones who did were fun to talk to - though hard to hear with fans screaming just a few feet away.
