True Blood Season 4: Will Dallas do a "Talk Blood " radio show this year ? #trueblood

Wow --here we go we are just 2 weeks from the return of True Blood.
One big question is looming …Will ‘ Talk Blood’ my True Blood radio show/ podcast return for Season 4 ?
First let me say thanks to everyone who has emailed and asked about the show’s return , it’s so nice to know how many folks love the show/podcast/ guests and chat room.
The bad news is that Blogtalk radio is no longer free – it actually now would cost about $100 a month to broadcast the show live on Sunday nights following each True Blood episode. The Blogtalk costs for the season would run about $400 and I am just not willing to do all the work it takes to run the show and personally shoulder the $400 costs.
We have a number of different ways ( or combination of ways) to raise the money. We can just raise the money through donations, I can take and read ads during the show from show sponsors and we could raise money through a raffle for True Blood / Sookie prizes.
For right now, I would just like to hear from you if you are willing to buy a raffle ticket for prizes ($20), if you would like to be a show sponsor ($50- for ads) or if you would just be willing to throw in a few bucks toward keeping the show going.
Let me know what you think ????
Depending on the response I’ll make a decision and we’ll get busy raising the money needed.

Suffering from too-much-plotitis, the latest Sookie Stackhouse book spreads itself thin between vampire politics, faerie drama, and yes, planning a baby shower.

‘True Blood’ in 3-D: Alan Ball says it could happen
“True Blood,” HBO’s sexy, soapy vampire series based on the bestselling novels from mystery writer Charlaine Harris, returns for its fourth season June 26, and while creator Alan Ball is staying mum on details about the twists and turns the story line will take, he did confirm earlier this week that the hit show is experimenting with the stereoscopic technology that’s all the rage at movie theaters these days.
“We did a scene in 3-D this season just to take a look at it,” Ball said in an interview. “HBO asked us to do one. It was pretty cool. I don’t think it’s going to air. We just did it as an experiment, because I don’t know if they’re going to want to take the show 3-D at some point, maybe like a season premiere or a season finale or something. I would be surprised if — depending on how long the show lasts — that doesn’t happen at some point, especially if 3-D technology gets beyond having to wear the glasses.”
Set in the fictional town of Bon Temps, La., “True Blood,” which stars Anna Paquin as telepathic cocktail waitress Sookie Stackhouse, seems rife with opportunities for eye-popping spectacle given its sprawling cast of supernatural creatures — vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, faeries, etc. The upcoming season, which is based loosely on Harris’ novel “Dead to the World,” introduces witches into the mix.

Sookie Stackhouse novelist Charlaine Harris to visit library June 18
Charlaine Harris, author of the hugely popular Sookie Stackhouse novels — the basis for HBO’s acclaimed "True Blood" series — will be at the Main Library (800 Vine Street, Downtown) 2 p.m. Saturday, June 18.
As part of the library’s 2011 Author Series, Harris, who has been writing for 30 years, will discuss her books, her career, take audience questions, and sign books in the Reading Garden Lounge on the first floor of the atrium.
This event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the John T. Nolan Fund, the Library Programs Fund and the Friends of the Public Library.
In addition, The Library Foundation is hosting a special fundraising lunch with the author. It takes place prior to her public program from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Huenefeld Tower Room, on the third floor of the Main Library.
Tickets are $100 and include lunch, a meet-and-greet with the author, an autographed copy of her new release "Dead Reckoning," as well as front row seating for the talk.
