True Blood Season 4 Screener videos leaks

I hate that they send out the first 3 eps on screener DVDs to the reviewers - so much leaks. Not that I dislike " spoilers" but the folks that get the DVDs don't always even understand the series ...

EW  has some tidbits...

Hi. I am a HUGE fan of True Blood. I know this season is primarily about Sookie/Eric, but this Bill fan wants to know if the former couple will have any decent scenes together as well? Will Bill be pursuing Sookie or is he too busy with his new power position? — CK
I know you’ve seen the first eight minutes, but the next eight will definitely answer your question about whether Bill cares or not. That said, Bill’s storyline is sometimes very twisted, but mostly just full of twists.
I’m gonna be selfish here by not asking for couple news. All I want is Eric! If not Eric, Alcide will do. Have your pick, thanks. — Shaden
Eric is constantly underestimated, and he’ll prove that in the first episode when he comes into possession of something extremely valuable. Also, episode 2 has some pretty great Eric moments, especially the last scene.
Let’s get some scoop on Jason, please! Bill, Sookie, Eric — love ‘em all. But haven’t heard a thing about Jason! — Gloria
Ryan Kwanten has talked about some dark and disturbing scenes that are in Jason’s future, and he was right on point. One scene in episode 2 might even require eye covering if you’re squeamish.

He’s Created a Monster: Alan Ball Talks ‘True Blood’

As anticipation grows for the June 26 season premiere of “True Blood” on HBO, an article in this weekend’s Arts & Leisure section looks at Anna Paquin, her trajectory on the show and what Season 4 holds in store for Sookie Stackhouse. Of course, Ms. Paquin would have no lines to speak, and never know when to bare her neck or shed her clothes if not for Alan Ball, the “True Blood” creator and producer, who adapted the series from Charlaine Harris’s best-selling “Southern Vampire Mysteries” novels.

Mr. Ball, the Academy Award-winning screenwriter of “American Beauty” and Emmy-winning creator of “Six Feet Under,” spoke recently from his West Hollywood office about “True Blood.” In these excerpts from that conversation, he discusses the creation and history of the show, what the new season holds in store and why he recently filmed a portion of a coming “True Blood” episode in 3-D.
Q.

How closely do you follow Charlaine Harris’s novels in planning the seasons of “True Blood,” and are you already thinking about Season 5?

O'Hare relishes 'True Blood' opportunity Was a fan before being cast in HBO vampire drama

When Denis O'Hare was asked to play the latest antagonist, Russell Edgington, the vampire king of Mississippi on HBO's hit skein "True Blood," accepting the role was a no brainer."It's one of my favorite shows," O'Hare says. "It's rare that you get to do a show that you actually love. It actually made me afraid because I loved it so much that I couldn't imagine being in that world.
"But once I got in the part and started thinking about it, I just got excited about the fact that it was a very powerful and charming character. It was such fun to play."
Edgington comes to Louisiana hoping to begin a war with its vampire queen and ultimately eliminate the human race. But tables turn, and when Edgington's lover and progeny, Talbot, is slain, the almost-3,000 year-old vampire goes on a rampage, including ripping a newscaster's spine from his body during a newscast.

True Blood Radio show: Your last chance to help us keep the 'Talk Blood' show going !!

Please let me know in the next few days if you are willing to help keep broadcasting "Talk Blood" - our 3 year old weekly True Blood talk show / podcast.
As many of you know—the use of Blogtalk Radio is no longer free and to do the talk show for this season of True Blood it  would now cost us approx $400.

For right now,  I just want to know if you’d toss in a few bucks ( $5-10), buy a raffle ticket for a prize giveaway ( $20.00) or if you would sponsor a show for $50. (You get advertising for your blog, business, book or anything you'd like to promote)

Here is just a little information about the show and the blog:
*Unlike many of the True Blood fan sites, I do not run this blog as part of my media business where I do promotion and fan sites for other shows.
*This blog and the radio show has always been a personal labor of love and they have always been PURELY fan based and fan centric. ( HBO Forum, TB Wiki and the TB Twitterverse)
*We are not only big fans of the HBO series True Blood but we are also huge fans of the Charlaine Harris and her Sookie books.

Are you thinking about sponsoring an episode ($50.00)? Do you wonder how many folks listen? I have never bragged, but I think our numbers are staggering! We have had between 250,000 (yes, that’s a quarter million) and 400,000+ (yes, that’s almost a half a million) listeners to the shows over the past 3 seasons. Impressive, huh ?

Just send me and email or post a comment below if you’d be willing to help keep the show going!

Thanks,  Dallas

Sookie grows up ..Anna grows up New York Times photos

"True Blood," the HBO horror fantasy starring Anna Paquin, returns on June 26 for its fourth season.
"While 'True Blood' has grown into an increasingly popular and crucial part of HBO’s line up," Dave Itzkoff writes, "its center has always been Ms. Paquin’s performance as Sookie, a beacon of curious, increasingly cynical humanity in a world of werewolves, witches and thousand-year-old beefcake."

Bloody Bloody Anna Paquin: An Interview With the ‘True Blood’ Star

When television viewers were introduced to Sookie Stackhouse, three years ago in real time but only a few weeks ago in the chronology of “True Blood,” she was a guileless Louisiana waitress with telepathic powers but without much knowledge of how the world worked, and – oh, right – she was a virgin.
How times have changed.
Over the first three seasons of “True Blood,” Sookie has grown into a take-charge heroine who can contend with shapeshifters, maenads, werewolves and – in Season 4 – witches, but no longer depends on her vampire paramour, Bill Compton, or his fanged rival, Eric Northman. During that time, Anna Paquin, the 28-year-old actress who plays Sookie, has evolved, too, into an increasingly central figure on this increasingly popular, explicit-in-all-kinds-of-ways HBO series, who has comfortably outgrown her former status as a precocious phenomenon (and is now married to co-star Stephen Moyer, who plays vampire Bill).
