True Blood Season 2 Possible Title Song: Ep. 8, Timebomb

This is exciting ! We now (might) know the titles of the first 9 episodes of True Blood for Season 2.

Now the one thing we know about True Blood is that the episode names come from the a song used in in the soundtrack of that episode and that it is somehow significant to that episode.

So far for Season 2 we have :
Episode 2.01 - Nothing but the Blood
Episode 2.02 - Keep this Party Going
Episode 2.03 - Changed to Scratches from Scratch My Back
Episode 2.04 - Changed to Shake and Fingerpop from Let's Take a Trip Together
Episode 2.05 - Never let me go
Episode 2.06 - Friend is a Four Letter Word
Episode 2.07 - Release me

All we know about Season 2 spoilers, casting calls etc. can be found here
We know that Alan Ball and the amazing Gary Calamar put great effort into musically curating True Blood !
Thanks to my friend Boadicea for suggesting that this could be a nod to a Dallas band, the Old 97s.

Episode 2.08 - Time bomb , this is only my guess, I just research the various songs with the leaked title and come up with a song I think it might be.
Time bomb maybe the song by the Old 97s from their 1997 album, Too Far to Care

The Old 97's are an alternative country band originally based in Dallas, Texas. The group formed in 1993[1] and took their name from an old country song popularized by Johnny Cash, "Wreck of the Old 97." They describe themselves as a rock band with influences as varied as the Kinks, the Beatles, the Pixies, David Bowie, Johnny Cash, and Merle Haggard. The band often performs country standards made famous by the latter two musicians, and has interspersed a number of these on their half-dozen albums over the last decade. The band originally feuded with Ryan Adams of fellow alt-country band Whiskeytown, but both are on good terms today.

Lyrics
I got a timebomb, in my mind Mom
I hear it ticking but I don't know why
I call the police, but they don't like me
I hear 'em whispering when I walk by

I got a landmine in my bloodline
I'm not immune to getting blown apart
She's like a claymore, that's what she's there for
She's waiting 'round here to get blown apart

Having her on my brain's like getting hit by a train,
She's gonna kill me. Oh Celeste, oh Celeste

I got a timebomb, in my mind Mom,
It's gonna go off, but I don't know when
I need a doctor to extract her
I got a feeling she'd get right back in again

I got a timebomb, in my mind Mom,
I got it badly for a stick-legged girl
She's gonna kill me, and I don't mean softly
I got it badly for a stick-legged girl

Having her on my brain's like getting hit by a train,
She's gonna kill me. Oh Celeste, oh Celeste, oh Celeste

Of course, it's probably just my first thought 'Timebomb' by Beck

I'm going to guess it's the song by The Old 97s, an alternative country band from Dallas. Makes sense that Gary Calamar and company would want to throw a bone to the local boys...

Definitely Beck. I checked the samples on iTunes and the Old 97's sounds nothing like the song played in True Blood, when I heard Beck, it all came back.
