Hey Dallas!
How about that season 2 premier! WOW!!! Loved it!
Had a little get together with a fellow tb lover and friend of mine Caroline. We made our own Tru Blood! (Orange Jiuce, Peach Schnapps, ½ tsp red food coloring and 2 drops of blue food coloring!) Printed out labels and we were good to go! I’ve sent you some pictures!

Jessica says...We had a premiere party last night, we didn't have an elaborate menu.
Wings, hot sauce, tortilla chips, guacamole, strawberries and lots of ale.
I made a red velvet cake that was in the shape of lips with fangs.
We all had a great time!
Looking forward to Sunday

EB from the wiki says...We got together with friends, serving recipes posted by you Dallas on this blog - including:tuna cheese casserole, swamp gas chili and
Gran's cryin pecan pie (which turned out well, although its not a traditional pecan pie

from Ruth....
We had a great time last night for the true blood premiere. With blood colored streamers and our true blood tshirts. It was a fun time for all.

Our Menu
Lafayette's Burgers (that recipe is the best!!!!)
Red Velvet Cupcakes
Red Salsa and Chips
Black Swan Austrailian Wine (for true blood)

Being a graphic designer...I couldn't just leave the bottles without their case! So...I retrofitted Black Swan Austrailian Wine's 4-pack of wine, into a 4pack of true blood. Not the same design as the show...but that is easily fixed before next season ;)

Enjoy the pic! I had a lot of fun making them.Ruth

** note Ruth that Burger's Lafayette is really Charlaine's recipe !
You guys are great!

I hosted a party, but we were so excited we forgot to take any pictures!

Our TB themed foods were Bleeding Heart Baked Brie (turned out to be VERY appropriate), a Swedish Nut Cake (in honor of Eric), bat shaped tortilla chips and red velvet cake.

We also made Classic Vampires (cranberry juice, vodka and Chambord).

Already planning our season finale party!

I wasn't able to have much of a party. I only found the show on Wednesday (and watched the entire season in 4 days) and then found out the premier was last night. Well, I didn't have HBO so what do you think I did two hours before the premier? I dialed up my service provider, added the Movie Network package onto my account, ran to the corner store and bought myself a little jug of Clamato juice to celebrate.
