Charlaine Harris to visit Columbia County, GA January 23rd


Author Charlaine Harris will visit Columbia County Georgia for a special event. She'll be at the Columbia County Library on January 23 2009 at 7:00 p.m.

Author Charlaine Harris to visit the Columbia County Library
Columbia County Library is pleased to present Charlaine Harris for our Winter Chills program on January 23rd at the Jabez S. Hardin Performing Arts Theater. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the program will begin promptly at 7:00pm. Admittance is free of charge.

Ms. Harris is the author of the Aurora Teagarden series of mysteries and the Sookie Stackhouse series which inspired the hit HBO series, TrueBlood.

To prepare for the main event, the Columbia County Libraries hosted book discussions for the 2010 Columbia County Reads Together books, Dead and Gone, a Sookie Stackhouse novel, and the Aurora Teagarden mystery, Poppy Dead and Gone.

Due to the overwhelming demand for the Charlaine Harris event, the library will be distributing 450 tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis at 6:00pm on the 23rd. NO TICKETS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED PRIOR TO 6:00pm. Patrons wishing to attend MUST have a ticket to be allowed admittance. The library appreciates your cooperation in helping to adhere to fire and emergency safety standards!
