"The Witches Reign” with Kevin Alejandro
From interview
Changing gears a little, can we expect Jesus Velazquez to be back to True Blood next season?
Absolutely! Jesus is definitely back. It’s kind of a big season for myself, as well. I’m a witch and this is the season of the witches. I think it’s called the Witches Reign. You’ll see a lot of me. We pick up where we leave off with that true True Blood style. It’s sexy, mysterious, and all kinds of fun.
I’m really fortunate. I’m having a great year. I have two really great, amazing shows that I’m part of, you know, Southland and True Blood. Fortunately, I get to do both of them, and not a lot of people get to do that.

True Blood Season 4 in production : Watching the Filming of “True Blood”
Last Wednesday evening I got a text from the owner of POP Champagne & Dessert Bar – my very favorite restaurant and the spot where the Grim Cheaper and I held the rehearsal dinner for our wedding last August – alerting me to the fact that the hit HBO television series True Blood would be filming at his eatery the following evening beginning at 9 p.m. He invited me to come down to watch and even though I’ve never seen even one episode of the vampire series, I was beyond excited! I immediately called up Mike, from MovieShotsLA, and asked him to join me as True Blood is his very favorite show. So, the next night at around 8 p.m. the two of us headed out to POP and were floored to see those ubiquitous yellow filming signs that I so love on the streets surrounding the restaurant.

This will mean a huge skip of time ... see timeline here
as Arlene was only 9 weeks pregnant at beginning of season
Todd Lowe has hinted that there will be a baby on the fourth season of True Blood.
Lowe, who plays war veteran Terry on the HBO series, spoke to E! News about the future of Arlene's (Carrie Preston) baby.
"There's a new presence in Terry and Arlene's life," said Lowe.
Lowe was then asked if the presence was a baby or a monster, to which his co-star Joe Manganiello (the werewolf Alcide) responded: "Both! Have you seen The Fly? It's like that."
True Blood returns June 12 on HBO.

Jace Everett grateful for True Blood
“My career was out on cinderblocks in the front yard when [True Blood] happened,” Everett, a Nashville-based singer-songwriter, said.
Everett’s song “Bad Things” carries the opening credits of the HBO hit show that stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer.
For Everett, “True Blood” has done more than give him airtime.
“It gave me confidence,” he said. That confidence began before the show even aired, influencing his 2009 album “Red Revelations.”
“We knew that “True Blood” was going to happen, so [with “Red Revelations”] we did that swampy sound,” Everett said. “I love that kind of music.”
It’s important to note Everett’s love for the music he is able to create today. He hasn’t always had that luxury

Graphic Books Best-Seller Lists: Vampire Love
With so much loving going around for vampires, this collected edition was kind of inevitable: at No. 1 on the hardcover list this week is the first volume of the “Vampirella Archives,” published by Dynamite Entertainment. The earliest adventures of Vampirella, a good creature of the night who combats evil bloodsuckers, are contained within and date back to 1969. Her very first cover was by Frank Frazetta and the writers and artists who chronicled her stories are the best of the best: Archie Goodwin, Bernie Wrightson, Wally Wood, Neal Adams and more.

True Blood‘s hottest duo, Alcide/Sookie.
ausiello drops this little nugget
Question: Your True Blood spoiler from last week about Jason is torturing me. Any other details about his big risqué scene? —Stephen
Ausiello: At the Globes, Ryan Kwanten said the sequence in question elicited an “audible gasp at the table read… and for our actors to be shocked at anything is a big deal.” Remember: This has the potential to be as shocking, if not more, than last season’s head-spinning sexscapade between Lorena and Bill. Hmmm…
Question: Enough about Eric/Sookie or Bill/Sookie. Tell me something about True Blood‘s hottest duo, Alcide/Sookie. —Suzan
Ausiello: I’m 87 percent certain that there will be an Alkie (or is it Soocide?) kiss within the first six episodes of Season 4. (The margin of error is +/- 4.9 percent, so you can pretty much take this to the bank.)

Being Human US on Syfy Monday nights !
Dallas has loved both season of Being Human UK and now I LOVE the new Syfy Being Human US
The monster rules keep changing. Every few months, it seems, a new movie or TV show comes out and tweaks the unnatural laws of horror fiction. On HBO’s “True Blood,” for example, vampires can subsist on artificial blood and are living openly in human society. In the “Underworld” movies, vampires and werewolves wage eternal war against each other.
Syfy’s new series “Being Human,” as its title suggests, concentrates on its monsters’ humanity instead of trying to create a complex mythology around them. Based on the British series of the same name, the show deftly blends drama, horror and comedy. Viewers will be surprised at how involved they become in a subject that seemingly had been sucked dry.

True Blood star James Frain: It's great to play the bad guy in such a brilliant show
And if you thought smash-hit supernatural thriller series True Blood was mad to watch then, according to the two newest stars to hit the underworld, it's even more crazy to be part of.
British actor James Frain, who plays the camp and enigmatic bloodsucker Franklin in the third series, which kicks off this Friday on FX, said the blockbuster show is the most fun he has ever had working on a set.
And the programme's new pin-up werewolf, Joe Mangianello, is just relieved to have avoided being bitten for real by his wolfie co-stars.
The hit HBO series about vampires and other spooky creatures living in the real modern world has been one of the biggest hits on American and British satellite TV in years.
And the new arrivals say fans can expect things to get even sexier than before.
Famed for its black humour and nude scenes, the series was created by Six Feet Under and American Beauty writer Alan Ball, based on the cult Southern Vampire novels by Charlaine Harris.

Moyer teases new 'True Blood' presence
Stephen Moyer has hinted that there will be a "presence" in the fourth season of True Blood.
Moyer, who plays Bill Compton, told E! Online that the show will continue to have a dark tone.
"We've got a new presence," he said. "There will be a new kind of spectre that represents darkness."
Moyer continued: "We had the wonderful Denis O'Hare as the King of Mississippi last year and he's [gone] at the end of season three, so we've got something else coming in to replace that darkness, which is going to be really interesting, I think, this whole new sort of topic that we haven't covered."
Moyer's co-star Rutina Wesley has previously described the fourth season of True Blood as "crazy".

Interviews with Evan Rachel Wood about True Blood Season 4
How is Season 4 going for True Blood?
WOOD: Of course, I can’t tell you anything that happens.
What will this season be like, in general?
WOOD: Honestly, I don’t know. I’ve only done one episode, so I have no idea. But, they always outdo themselves, every year.
What’s it like to be back on the set?
WOOD: It’s been great. It’s one of the funnest sets I’ve ever worked on, actually. There’s just always something crazy happening, and lots of blood.
How tortured will Queen Sophie-Anne be this season?
WOOD: Oh, I think she’ll get what she deserves.
How many episodes will you be doing?
WOOD: I can’t say.
Who have your scenes been with so far?
WOOD: So far, Stephen Moyer. We have to finish our big fight.
Viewers will see a resolution to that then?
WOOD: Of course, there will be a resolution. You just have to wait and see what happens. But, it will be epic.
Have you had any scenes with any of the new female cast members?
WOOD: Not yet, no.
How do you define Sophie-Anne’s sexuality?
WOOD: Vampires, in general, are both. I don’t think there is a preference for them. But, I think she’s made her choice. I’d say she’s a lesbian.
Do you think she’ll ever pursue a relationship with Sookie?
WOOD: I hope so. Come on, it’s gotta happen!
WOOD: I wish them nothing but the best. They make me sick, how in love they are with each other. They’re such an amazing couple, honestly. I’m just envious of them both. They’re great people.
What do you think it is about the allure of vampires that makes them so popular?
“WOOD: It’s always been around. There is something seductive about it. It’s living forever. There is this sexiness and this romance to that, I guess. And, there’s the goriness of it. It’s beautiful gore. It’s not a bloody zombie. It’s a very attractive, forever young, seductive person that might eat you.
Is it fun to play evil?
WOOD: It’s so much fun! The villains are always more fun to play, absolutely.
What is your attraction to playing bad girls?
WOOD: I don’t necessarily consider them bad. I think they’re just human. They just explore things and do things that most people think about, but don’t really talk about and don’t really do. They’re just honest, really. Nobody is good or bad. You only live once.
How does your True Blood role compare to your role in Mildred Pierce, in degree of difficulty?
WOOD: True Blood is just a blast. It’s fun, it’s scary, it’s sexy, it’s hilarious. Mildred Pierce was slightly more dramatic and demanding, I have to say.
How has your life changed since True Blood?
WOOD: Good lord, the fans of True Blood are so dedicated and intense. It’s crazy. I get stopped on the street constantly now. People call me The Queen, which I don’t mind at all. That’s how people address me. It’s nice. Not a bad gig.
What vibe are you getting from the new season of “True Blood”?
WOOD: I honestly don’t know what they are doing. But I know it is always going to be out of control.
There are more vampire shows now than ever. Why is that?
WOOD:There is something seductive about it. It is living forever. There is this sexiness and this romance to that, I guess. And the goriness of it. It is like beautiful gore. It is not like a bloody zombie. It is a very attractive, forever young, seductive person – that might eat you!

True Blood Season 4 Spoiler Chat Dish on Russell and Pam
Thanks to E!Online Kristin, we got some bloodilicious scoop for you, along with a little Pam news.
Monica: Will Denis O'Hare be back on the new season True Blood?
It sure sounds like it because sources tell me that there will be a big storyline in which we see vampire attacks on YouTube—which is classic Russell Edgington, no? However, it turns out it's not Russell, but rather an underground filmmaker who is capturing various vamps on video and then posting on YouTube for the world to see. Needless to say, this is not going to improve relations between the bloodsuckers and conservatives of the True Blood world. As for Denis, I'm told he is expected back at some point but so far no concrete plans (i.e. contract) in place. Might be another season or two.
Jonathan: More True Blood spoilers, please!
In an early episode, Pam is going to get a "hot and stupid" sack o' meat to chew on who actually enjoys being bitten. And Tommy will get an intriguing offer from a prospector. Producers are also casting a Spanish-speaking badass chiquita who'll be a recurring role in episodes two through six.
For more delicious scoop, head over to E!Online.

Thrilling: Some of the best mysteries of 2010 : Charlaine Harris story included !
Charlaine Harris's Delta Blues anthology makes the list
The best in crime fiction straddles the line of entertainment and social commentary -- forcing us to look at our society and, in some cases, our past. These are novels we remember long after the last chapter. Of the 200-plus novels I read during 2010, these are my favourites.
I'd Know You Anywhere by Laura Lippman (HarperCollins). The alchemy of guilt and surviving, of memory and fact surface in the relationship between predator and prey. A suburban homemaker receives a letter from her kidnapper, who's on death row. She's torn between ignoring him and finding out why she was the only teenage victim he let live.
Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter by Tom Franklin (HarperCollins). The childhood friendship between two boys, one white, one black, whose lives took vastly different directions, shows the destructive nature of gossip and racism in a gone-to-seed small town in Mississippi.

Go ask Dallas: Why don't we have True Blood Music Videos everyday anymore ?
In case you haven't notice, I have stopped posting a daily video,True Blood Music video of the Day. For two years, I posted a video every single day ears without MISSING A SINGLE DAY! in part I did it to remind myself and everyone that reads my blog that this is all about the fans!
It's not about the actors, as much as we love their work, looks etc it is not about the wealthy and gorgeous actors, actresses and professionals that create True Blood it is not even about our beloved Charlaine Harris , who without her imagination none of this world and it's characters would even exist.
It is about us ...we the fans if we didn't love it, watch it, read the books, buy the swag and attend the conventions ..poof these products would cease to exist because they would not be profitable for networks to produce and publishing houses to publish.
I love everything fan produced; fan art, fan music videos , fan crafts, amazing fans that write blogs, vlogs and character tweet on twitter and yes, even those who write fanfic. We do this without any compensations, we spend our own money and oodles of time just because it's fun and we love the stories and characters. Special thanks to everyone on Team True Blood in Dallas who are not only the best fans but have made this really fun for Ol' Dallas !
So Dallas' hats off to all you great fans, on to 2011, Sookie book 11 and True Blood Season 4 !
