I promise this won't turn into a Vampire Diaries blog but it is a way to keep sane while we wait for Book 10 and Season 3.
I'm posting this because the discussion between Stephen and Damon in this clip reminds me of talking to Meredith Woerner last night on our Blogtalk Radio special about her new book Vampire Taxonomy.

In the book, she classifies the diffident types of vampires and you can see how the Salvatore brothers are different types in this clip..

I watched the show last week and yes
i really like the show.Now i can say
that yes there are two types of vampires on there,the one that is always trying to be good,wants to be
human,always to do the right thing
and there is the other one trying to always brake down the good in the
other as he either does not under-
stand it or really is just evil.JMO
In life it is the same thing.
I enjoy this show a lot. Sure it is not Bill and Eric, but I like it. I think this clip shows really well the two sides. Much like True Blood's Bill, the mainstreamer, and Eirc, the "bad boy", you have Stephan,the vampire trying to be good and not kill and do harm to humans, and Damon, the bad boy. Much like True Blood I think there will be those who favor Stephan and those who favor Damon.
