Sookie and Bill : In Sookie's dream she and Bill frolic in the waves
We remember in True Blood Season 1 this image from Sookie's dream of living a normal life with Bill. In the dream, she comes down for breakfast in the morning and he's sitting at the table reading the newspaper and has made her a huge breakfast spread. She quickly realizes it's daytime and Bill shouldn't be out in the day time- by the time she can say anything , he's burst into flames- this makes her wake from the dream with a start.
Then I saw this photo and thought that this must be yet another wonderful Sookie dream sequence . Remember at the end of Season 1 when she and Sam talk about taking a trip to the coast ?( I don't think anyone would want a trip to the Louisiana gulf coast right now! )Maybe in this dream she dreams of taking just such a trip with Bill.
Isn't this just what it would look like ?
Ha! ;-)

Alan Ball uses Fanfic for True Blood Season 3 and Arlene is pregnant ?
Ho Hum - here come the spoilers from those reviewer DVDs that HBO gives out that include the 1st episodes. It happens every year !
From TVAddict
Because waiting until the June 13 premiere, for lack of a better word SUCKS, I’m gonna need some TRUE BLOOD scoop! — Marlee
The TV Addict: Okay, here’s the deal. Despite having already had the pleasure of sinking our teeth into the first three episodes of the new season, we are not the least bit interested in spoiling one of the summer's true delights that is BLOOD’s trademark oh-no-they-didn’t-just-do-that moments by revealing, say… the circumstances surrounding Eric and Sookie’s first face-to-face of the season! What we will say is that creator Alan Ball may have spent a little too much time during his hiatus online because one particular scene from the premiere reads as if it was ripped directly from some very
dirty wishful fan fiction.
As an ardent supporter of “Team Eric,” I simply have to ask: Which fandom will have a bigger smile on their face come June 13? — Melanie
The TV Addict: Again, not really something we want to spoil, except to say that regardless of what “team” you’re on — be it Eric or Bill’s — you’re in for a real treat. Particularly since not even Hollywood seems immune to these harsh economic times as evidence by what surely must have been an epic cutback in the HBO
I demand at least one morsel of TRUE BLOOD scoop! — Bethaney
The TV Addict: Remember those out-of-control orgies Maryann was responsible for last season? Well as it turns out, being ‘responsible’ wasn’t exactly front of mind for one unlucky couple!
Just how big a role will werewolves play in the new season of TRUE BLOOD? — Sadie
The TV Addict: As we continue to keep our answers as ambiguous as possible, let’s just say that by the time the credits role on TRUE BLOOD’s third season premiere one thing will be abundantly clear: In his 173 years roaming earth, poor Bill Compton most definitely didn’t find the time to watch the Disney animated classic Beauty & the Beast.

Why True Blood Kicks Twilight's Ass
The ultimate vampire showdown is hardly even a fair fight. Sookie vs. Bella! Bill and Eric vs. Frik n' Frak! With True Blood Season 3 and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse both headed our way this month we here at IGN felt the need to set the record straight once and for all: TRUE BLOOD KICKS TWILGHT'S ASS!
It's true. True Blood wins. Easily. On almost every single conceivable level. It's hardly even a fair fight. It's like watching a bed-ridden asthmatic try to knock down a sequoia. By huffing and puffing. True Blood is a salaciously sinister and fiendishly fun series featuring insane characters filled with life and color. Twilight is a sniffly-nosed, dew-covered mope-fest filled with silence and shame. Yes, because of the "vampire factor", these two creative products share fans as there will always be fans of vampires no matter what movie they're in or what show they're on. Like everything else that exists in pop-culture there are apologists. But Twilight is listless and dreary. And it's not that we don't fully appreciate the forests and gravel roads of the Pacific Northwest as a backdrop, but Twilight wallows too much in the picturesque serenity of its locale and loses all sense of danger. It never effectively conveys the "horror" that lies behind the small town facade. It essentially targets eight year-olds (under the guise of a teen romance) by effectively de-evolving the entire genre.

Vampires just won’t quit
They’re a very kinky crowd. The kind you don’t take home to mother. But on a Tuesday night at AMC Barrywoods 24, these superfreaks came together to celebrate the world of vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters and all things supernatural.
No worries, Northlanders, I tagged along with my friend, and it was all in good fun. People drove from all over the metro to pack a theater and celebrate the return of HBO’s hit series “True Blood,” based on the best-selling Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris.
Season 3 debuts a week from Sunday, and earlier this week fanatics nationwide were treated to the “True Blood Ultimate Fan Experience,” which included a screening of the Season 2 finale, a Q&A with the cast and a sneak peek into the next season.
Most people scored their tickets through the Facebook fan page where you simply registered yourself as one of the supernaturals.

Anna Paquin: Why I Came Out As Bisexual-Huffpo
Anna Paquin announced that she was bisexual in a PSA for a gay advocacy group a couple of months ago, and now she says she just wanted to do her part in advancing equality.
"I'm not someone who endlessly talks about her personal life for no reason, but obviously, as someone who identifies as bisexual, those are issues I really care about -- and frankly, I don't see why everyone doesn't care about them," she told Zap2it. "So when I was asked to participate in that PSA (for True Colors First, a gay rights organization), it was just an obvious, 'Well, of course I will.'"
Anna, 27, is engaged to her 'True Blood' costar Stephen Moyer and said that her coming out was no surprise to those close to her.
"It wasn't like it was a big secret," she said. "It was just a cause I cared about and privately supported, but not one that I had ever had an opportunity to speak out about in a way that would be useful. Obviously I know that one person's voice doesn't necessarily do that much, but I just wanted to do my bit."
See the PSA in which Anna comes out here.

The CW Offers a Double Dose of Vampires with Moonlight and Vampire Diaries on Fridays
Moonlight was Alex O'Loughlin's first big TV gig here in the states. The series ran on CBS but tanked in the ratings despite having such a popular star and such a popular concept.
Mick St. John is a vampire private detective. He's cool, charming, and a real do-gooder who only gets his blood from the blood bank. O'Loughlin rocked the vampire role playing it with a bit of old Hollywood noir but I never quite fell for his leading lady, Sophia Miles as Beth Turner.

Acting With Wolves: Meaty Roles That Require a Gentle Touch
Werewolf Craze Puts Shadow and His Pack in the Spotlight; 'It Felt So Primal'
LOS ANGELES—Producers on the HBO vampire series "True Blood" were in a race to finish several scenes last month. But their deadline wasn't about budgets or air dates. They needed to wrap the episodes before the wolves shed their winter coats.
"We had to work on their timeline," says executive producer Gregg Fienberg. A lighter summer coat would make the 120-pound gray wolves, cast in werewolf roles, look smaller and less menacing. "We can't suddenly have wolves that look different."

'True Blood' Wolf Joe Manganiello Is 'Overwhelmed By Fan Attention'
Of course, Alcide is hardly a new character for fans of the "Sookie Stackhouse" novels from Charlaine Harris
— those readers are already well aware of the werewolf's importance to Bon Temps' residential telepath. But did you know that it's actually the fans themselves that led to Joe's eventual casting as Alcide?
Speaking with Hollywood Crush, Joe recalled that a friend once showed him a website where fans were offering their own casting choices for several yet-to-be-cast "True Blood" characters, including Alcide. To Joe's surprise, his name was at the top of the list.
"As fans were posting pictures of who they'd hope would be cast as Alcide, some of them were posting pictures of me," he told Hollywood Crush exclusively. "That's how I found out about the books. I made sure to order the books, read them, and it looked like Alcide was described as pretty similar to me physically. I made sure I watched every episode, started bugging my agents and managers about it and that's how I wound up getting the part."
