Whose foot is that in Andy's car?
There is increasingly less certainty about that being Lafayette's foot.

So now there is speculation that the foot might be
someone else maybe Lettie Mae or maybe Miss Jeanette.
Tara accidentally runs into Miss Jeanette on working at a drug store the way to Keachie.

I think Alan Ball might throw us for a loop by letting it be Miss Jeanette. You can tell the person in Andy's car is bald like either Lafayette or Ms. Jeanette so it could go either way!
Who else could it be? At the end of the last episode, we see Lafayette taking out the trash and something/someone goes after him. It makes sense that it would be him. If its Ms. Jeanette or Lettie Mae, why would someone take the body all the way to the bar and put it in Andy's car?
I'm pretty sure it's Lafayette. Why else would the town be "reeling" from the murder and why would Sookie look so disturbed in the promo? Also, remember the Maryanne connection to Andy. When he pulls up to the station with Jason in tow, he is extremely rude to her, to which she responds "Detective...Bellefleur, right?" If they keep the basic storyline of book 2, it all ties together.
what ive said is that maybe there isnt just one body in the car ..maybe Laf is else where ..
I'm just thinking Ball want to remind the book fans right off this TB not only Living Dead in Dallas
It's totally Lafayette. But the fact that everyone's still debating it means that someone's doing their job right!
If there is not little fun twist to it somewhere then Alan Ball just blew his biggest cliff hanger ( matter of fact the season closing cliff hanger ( the girls screaming ) ) in his 'Taste of True Blood documentary ..
that seems more unlikely to me ...
The only thing that keep me wondering if is Lafayette's body is that when he took the trash out, he was wearing boots...
So if is really Lafayette, then the thing that murdered him went a little wild taking his clothes off...
I think (and have always thought!) it was Lettie Mae. I have not read the books, but going strictly off a possible MaryAnn connection...she could have killed Lettie Mae for Tara (for disowning her) and put her in Andy's car for being rude at the station.
Remember it has been 2 weeks since Lafayette jumped on the dumpster. Those are some nice toes after two weeks...shoes or no shoes. I love my pedicures and they dont look that good after two weeks!
Also, someone mentioned you could tell it was a bald person in the car...HOW? I have watched it in slow motion and all I see is a naked leg with blood on the inside of it.
I thinks its Tara's mom & was put there by Maryann(the pride & drink thing)since she has Tara in her sites.Plus AB said that the people who reed the "books" know that its Lafayette...There's alot of people that haven't reed the books, AB wouldn't just give away a season cliff-anger just like that.He using misdirection(found in all good mysteries)
i had never thought ( like a good bookie) it was ever anyone but Lafayette until Alan Ball this weekend in A Taste of Blood looked right into the camera and said "anyone who had read the books knows its Lafayette " blowing the cliff hanger of the season.
Well gool ol' Mr Ball just wouldn't do that without there being some twist to it..
Laf is dead ( or still missing and they'll drag it out a little wiht flashbacks) and the orgies are on but that foot won't be his or he will be in the trunk ..some kind of twist
Ball is also telling the book fans right off "the is not CH's Sookie this is my True Blood " which is good
Its gotta be Lafayette's. If it's not then the show is completely diverging from the books. Plus, what would they do with Lafayette's character if it wasn't him? He really doesn't have much more to contribute to the storie.
I think it has to be Lettie Mae or Laf based on the pure horror on Sookie's face when she sees the body. She wouldn't be reacting in that way if it was Miss Jeanette because she doesn't know her. She has become jaded from all the blood & gore she went through in Season 1.
