True Blood’s Kristin Bauer on Eric’s Amnesia, Corsets, and Her Most Shocking Line This Season

As True Blood's Pam, Kristin Bauer's role has thus far been twofold: to spit out piquant lines, and to look fabulous while doing it. But this season, the unflappable vamp must channel her inner thug to fight a coven of witches, who've had the gall to mess with the only precious thing in Pam's life: her badass maker, Eric Northman. Vulture discussed all the True Blood basics (sex, savagery, Skarsgard) with the seasoned actress. Then we shamelessly pumped her for information on former co-stars Jerry Seinfeld and Charlie Sheen.

Charlaine Harris is finishing up Sookie book 12 and heading to Toronto

Charlaine posts to her blog

This will be a very short blog, since I'm not thinking about much of anything but the next book these days. I'm trying to get it ready to send in to my editor by the end of this month, and that means I have to concentrate on what's at hand.
But I'll be seeing some of you next weekend at Polaris, the Toronto convention. I'll be staying over an extra day to have a signing at Indigo Books. It's been a long time since I went across the border, and I'm looking forward to it.

True Blood’s Joe Manganiello Talks Season 4 Romances and Battles

Manganiello, 34, turned up the temperature with his smoldering performance as mysterious newcomer- and werewolf- Alcide Herveaux. True Blood fans breathed a sigh of relief when Manganiello was signed on as a regular cast member for season four.

“I love the moments where I get to play the werewolf and do some sniffing and tracking,” he said about his favorite part of the role. “Last year I loved cooking my steak and going off to eat it without a fork. I love all of those little werewolf moments. I incorporated growling into Alcide's character: If he didn't like something, he'd growl.”

According to the tall, dark, and handsome Pittsburgh native, a lot will happen on the HBO hit to bring about more guttural noises. Manganiello spoke to about battles, babes, bare chests, and the struggle to be the big man in Bon Temps.

10 Best 'True Blood' One-Liners From Vamp Diva Pam

Finally, True Blood writers seem to have figured out what the rest of us did several seasons ago: Pam deserves some serious props. As Eric's protege, Pam (played by Kristin Bauer) has been the go-to character for dry, dastardly wit, and this season our favorite bad girl is moving out of the shadows and into the -- well, not spotlight, exactly, but you know what I mean.
What's fabulous about Pam is that she gets such an unabashed kick out of being evil. Pam has none of the lame vampire-guilt Bill carries around; she's even less of a human being than Eric. And why not? Hell, if you're gonna be a vampire, might as well be a vampire. Plus, Pam's take-no-prisoners, tell-it-like-it-is style has resulted in some of the best one-liners (not to mention two- and three-liners) ever, on True Blood or any other show in the history of time. Seriously.
I absolutely can't wait to hear what Pam has to say this week. In the meantime, my Top 10 Favorite Pam Quotes:

Did I miss something? Are we girls now? Did we join a book club and read some queer chick lit memoirs and are bound together by sisterhood or estrogen or some other feminist drivel
