The Sartorially Changing Men of "True Blood"

The fourth season of True Blood has been bloodier, racier, trashier, more over-the-top, and more ridiculous than ever – and I couldn't be any happier.
Nonetheless, as I watch the fang-banging, the bloodsucking, and the general mayhem, I can't help but wonder, "Has the image of the characters changed along with the mythological Southern-fried looney storylines?"
The women easily have their trademark "style." Sookie stuffs herself into boob-hugging baby tees and camel toe-inducing Daisy Dukes; Pam displays her bitchiness via Dynasty dominatrix leather & lace and the "moon goddess" witch Marnie obviously has ambitions to be the next Chico's spokesmodel.
But what about the beloved men of Bon Temps? Upon close examination, they have probably evolved even more than the women. From Lafayette's braids and zany first season looks to Eric's finely cut suits, here's a breakdown of how three bohunks and one queen have kept their image fresh amidst the craziness of vampires, werewolves, Maenads, werepanthers, fairies, and witches

South African Actress To Appear In New Season Of True Blood

The fourth season of True Blood kicks off in America on Sunday night, and it has a South African cast member! No, they haven’t written the tokoloshe into the plot (yet). But they have created a “French-speaking supernatural” who will be played by our very own homegirl, Nondumiso Tembe! And it is not just a once-off appearance. She has signed up to appear in several episodes of the vampire drama!
Tembe is the latest South African actress to make it in the US, following Terry Pheto, who recently landed a role in popular soapie The Bold and the Beautiful. This multi-talented lady also released her first album, Izwi Lami, recently.
I’m afraid no other information on her role has been spilled, but we do know that the new season will focus heavily on faeries. So until Sunday when we get to see what supernational shenanigans Nomdumiso gets up to, you’ll have to be content with the first eight minutes of the new season:

Vampire: Meet True Blood's Newest Vampire, Aaron Perilo

True Blood's newest sexy vampire, Aaron Perilo, makes his debut as Blackburn on this Sunday's episode. We recently caught up with the Nebraska-born actor to chat about his mysterious new role, which fans have been speculating about for months, and to find out what it was like to join the cast of the HBO hit. Aaron gave us a sneak peek at how his character arrives on the scene in Bon Temps, shared the behind-the-scenes advice that Stephen Moyer gave him, and also talked about his flourishing movie career, which includes a role opposite Justin Timberlake in the upcoming science-fiction thriller In Time. Check out our interview with Aaron and be sure to tune in to True Blood this Sunday night on HBO.

All Hail the Mayor of Bon Temps -William Schallert is in demand — as always

They don't make the big money or get their names above the lights or their pictures on the covers of magazines. But character actors are the lifeblood of show business — and a versatile one can work for decades.

Case in point: William Schallert, who has been a working actor for more than 60 years, starting with his feature film debut in the 1947 period drama "The Foxes of the Harrow" through his current role as the mayor of Bon Temps on HBO's erotic vampire series, "True Blood."

True Blood Gets a Little Hairier!

Daniel will be playing Raoul, the Shreveport packmaster. Which means he'll be above Alcide (Joe Manganiello) in terms of werewolf rank. His role is described as "tough and intense," and he'll be recurring in at least seven episodes. Raoul's first appearance will be in episode 4.05, titled "I Hate You, I Love You." Guess we'll be getting a werewolf showdown as well as a witch war this season. True Blood is back in June, so prepare fangbangers!
