Sookie is having a baby .. congrats Anna and Stephen !

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer's reps have confirmed the two are expecting a vampire baby, EW.com reports.
This is the first pregnancy for Paquin, 29. Moyer, 42, has two children, ages 10 and 11, from a previous relationship.
It is unknown whether the fetus will attempt to drink all of Anna Paquin's potent fairy blood while it is inside of her. Congratulations, hookahs.

Anna Paquin obviously chose the latter path after she won Best Supporting Actress for The Piano in 1994. The Winnipeg born, New Zealand-raised actress who plays Sookie in Oscar-winning writer-filmmaker Alan Ball's trippy, twisty vampire drama based on the popular series of novels by Charlaine Harris, appeared both resplendent and visibly relaxed in an immaculate ivory cocktail dress and sensible shoes as she made her way from the Beverly Hilton lobby to the main ballroom, through a shaft of reflected sunlight, accompanied by her beau and husband of 11 months, Stephen Moyer.

Barely five minutes into the panel that spread the key "True Blood" actors across the stage in Ballroom 20, Anna Paquin was asked if her character Sookie had a split personality. She granted that part of Sookie was rather sedate, but “part of her has really dirty vampire sex on a regular basis — with possibly multiple vampires.”

Recently, on a soundstage representing a New Age shop in Louisiana, US, another sign warned ‘Live panthers on set,’ but those terrifying predators were nowhere to be seen.

Instead, Sookie Stackhouse, the mind-reading, vampire-attracting waitress portrayed by Anna Paquin, and her friends Tara (Rutina Wesley) and Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) were cowering in fear of a sinister Wiccan, played by Fiona Shaw, who appeared to be carrying on a conversation with herself — or maybe with someone else inside her.

When Paquin visited behind the cameras during a shooting break and sprawled herself across a director’s chair, she playfully declined to explain what exactly had transpired in this scene from the next-to-last episode of the coming True Blood season. “Would you want to know what’s in store?” she asked. “There’s something about anticipation that makes it more exciting.”

On the difference between looking healthy and being healthy:

“People in this town have a weird tendency to say, if someone's lost weight, ‘Oh my God, you look amazing.’ And you're like, ‘I just had my tonsils out and didn't eat for three weeks,’…But it's not healthy."

True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer wed Saturday evening at a private residence in Malibu, Calif., UsMagazine.com has confirmed. Guests -- many of them bearing gifts in purple boxes and with purple bows -- included Elijah Wood and True Blood costar Carrie Preston with husband Michael Emerson (Lost).  Paquin, 28, and Moyer, 40, exchanged their vows beneath a tent across the street from the beach.

The couple announced their engagement last August. Connecting over daily breakfasts at a West Hollywood cafe, they began dating a few months after filming first began in 2008 for HBO's smash vampire series, now in its third season. On the show, Paquin (a 1994 Oscar-winner at age 11 for her role in The Piano) plays Sookie Stackhouse, the psychic, mortal lover to vampire Bill Compton (Moyer); their first kiss occurred onscreen.

But the duo waited until February 2009 to debut their real-life romance -- a delay that was "very intentional on both our parts," British actor Moyer explained at the time. "It was very important to me that the cast and crew we were working with didn't feel it was fickle....We didn't want to take anything away from the show."
Moyer proposed to Canadian-born, New Zealand-raised Paquin on a Hawaiian beach, presenting her with a ring -- a rustic diamond set in an antiqued platinum inset -- he helped design with jeweler Kathy Waterman. Why Hawaii? "There was a song in the first season, 'White Sandy Beach in Hawaii,' which was kind of funny and ironic," he told Access Hollywood last year. "[It] all started out as a joke and then we decided to go to Hawaii with my kids," says the actor, who has a son, Billy, and daughter, Lilac, from two previous relationships.

These days, Moyer splits his time between his native London and the Venice, Calif. home he shares with Paquin.
"With Anna it's just about pure trust, on camera and off," Moyer gushed in the July issue of Playboy. "I have never trusted anybody like I trust Anna."
"I feel so lucky right now," Paquin says in the latest issue of Rolling Stone. "Life is pretty great."

Why do you think people are so fascinated with vampire stories? —Enrique Feliciano, SAN JUAN, P.R.
I honestly don't know. I get asked that a lot. I wish I had a really great answer. They're usually portrayed as being sexy and kind of dangerous. But I don't really know. (See pictures of vampires on the big screen.)
You've worked in both film and television. Which industry do you enjoy more? —Stephanie Kadlicko, AMES, IOWA
I like both. The way HBO shoots — the way the stories are structured and the attention to detail — is like in film. So there's very little difference. I get to go to more places with my character than I would in a two-hour film. That's really exciting, creatively speaking.
I know people usually ask what the perks are of working alongside your fiancé Stephen Moyer. But what do you like least about working with him? —Okimasi Takim, ST. PAUL, MINN.
[Laughs.] There's nothing I don't like about it. So I guess that's the answer.

Nude scenes? That’s a breeze, says True Blood star Anna Paquin. But having to drink vampire blood — well, that just sucks.
“I get a kick out it, but the actual blood makes me want to gag!” Paquin tells Self in its July issue on newsstands Tuesday. “It’s kind of a sweet corn syrup, I think, with an aftertaste that’s less than pleasant after the 10th take,” she adds of filming scene for the popular HBO series. “In season one, they asked me if I wanted sugar or sugar-free. I was like, ‘Sugar-free blood? Sounds great!’”

Anna Paquin: Why I Came Out As Bisexual-Huffpo

Anna Paquin announced that she was bisexual in a PSA for a gay advocacy group a couple of months ago, and now she says she just wanted to do her part in advancing equality.
"I'm not someone who endlessly talks about her personal life for no reason, but obviously, as someone who identifies as bisexual, those are issues I really care about -- and frankly, I don't see why everyone doesn't care about them," she told Zap2it. "So when I was asked to participate in that PSA (for True Colors First, a gay rights organization), it was just an obvious, 'Well, of course I will.'"
Anna, 27, is engaged to her 'True Blood' costar Stephen Moyer and said that her coming out was no surprise to those close to her.
"It wasn't like it was a big secret," she said. "It was just a cause I cared about and privately supported, but not one that I had ever had an opportunity to speak out about in a way that would be useful. Obviously I know that one person's voice doesn't necessarily do that much, but I just wanted to do my bit."
