True Blood Boss On Bill-Sookie-Eric Threesome Buzz, Jessica's New Crush and Major Deaths! (video)

Is True Blood about to turn the Bill-Sookie-Eric triangle into a threesome?
That’s the first thought that crossed my mind when I eyed this provocative teaser for the HBO drama’s Aug. 21 episode: “Convalescing after her latest near-death trauma, Sookie envisions a world where there’s room for both Bill and Eric.”

Chris Bauer Talks 'True Blood' Season Four (VIDEO)

Fact: Chris Bauer looks -- and sounds -- nothing like Bon Temps' resident drunken detective, Andy Bellefleur -- the troubled character he currently plays on the hit HBO series "True Blood."
And even though he may have perfectly embodied the corrupted union boss Frank Sobotka on the critically acclaimed show "The Wire," in person, Bauer comes off as much more confident, kind-hearted and stable than the deeply flawed characters he's known for playing.

Charlaine Harris Home Improvement: Undead Edition ++ Sneak of new Sookie Short Story

Posted on July 23, 2011

Just a little snippet here. I was in Borders the other day and came across the new compilation of short stories CH edited with her cohorts in crime. Her website says its not due out till August but it was already on a few bookshelves. Anyway …

This short story finds Sookie with Sam, helping Tara and JB do some home modification on their house to accommodate their new twins. In the knocking down of a closet door they find a bloody hammer and uncover an 70 year old mystery. As it turns out, a boy next door (back in the 30s) was bludgeoned to death with said hammer. Now there is an angry and sad spirit plaguing the house and causing all those gathered, including their new clairvoyant nurse Quiana to feel it. Now Tara, JB and their twins need the help of clairvoyant Quiana, telepath Sookie, and bloodhound Sam to eradicate the spirit from the house.

It was a nice little read at only about 27 pages. Sorry Eric fans, he’s not in this one.

Thanks very much to http://finiteanarchy.wordpress.com/

True Blood San Diego Comic Con 2011 Panel (Video) Excellent!!

True Blood Season 4: Comic-Con Trailer (HBO) Wow - Spoiler !!!

There does seem to be some Eric-Sookie sex.
Bill gets jealous.
Bad things happen to Tara.
Tara does bad things.
The new witch, Marnie, is kind of a badass.
Jessica does something dangerous.
Lots of sex and violence and stuff.
And then Sookie gets shot in a graveyard.

Enough of that, the many panelists:

Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pam)
Alexander Skarsgard (Eric)
Kevin Alejandro (Jesus)
Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette)
Deborah Ann Wolk (Jessica)
Ryan Kwanten (Jason)
Rutina Wesley (Tara)
Stephen Moyer (Bill)
Anna Paquin (Sookie)
Alan Ball (the executive producer guy)

There were lots of questions.

Why Bon Temps?
Alan Ball: "If you could live in Bon Temps, wouldn't you?"

Are there two Sookie Stackhouses?
Anna Paquin: "There's the part of her that has really, dirty vampire sex on a regular basis."
Is shirtlessness an acting choice or a curse?

Eric's new clothes are theorized to originally belong to Hoyt. Alan Ball clarifies that the spell includes shirt-loss followed by the discovery of dorky clothes that still make Eric look hot.

Will there be more fall-out from Bill's inappropriate sex?
Stephen Moyer: "If Bill had done a bit of research... he might have worked out who she was."

Is Lafayette interested in magic or just in love?
Pretty much, he's in love.

Is Jesus a secret bad guy?
Kevin Alejandro: "I think there's a little darkness in everybody. You just need to watch and find out, bro."

How about the new, kick-ass Tara?
Rutina Wesley: "I secretly love the UFC, so I was so glad when I got the script... I think it's kind of awesome that she's happy and that she's happy for a change."

How long was Jason strapped to the bed and raped?
Ryan Kwanten: "It continued for about four [episodes]... He was enjoying the fact that he's now being called Ghost Daddy."

What's up with Jessica giving Jason her blood?
Deborah Ann Woll: "I'm more interested in what happens when the V wears off."

After an expression of affection from the audience, Deborah Ann Woll responded: "Oh, you're too young to watch our show!"

On Pam's "face-off" with Marnie:
Kristin Bauer: "We worked really hard to make you squeamish."

Will Eric remember being with Sookie if he gets his memory back?
Alan Ball: "I feel like that's too much to give away... No. Yes. Maybe."

Is there hope for Bill and Sookie?
A chorus of yeses and nos keep the panelists quiet.

Anna Paquin: "I think it's going to be a long road back."
Stephen Moyer: "There's obviously so many telepathic waitresses down south..."

What about Arlene's possibly-evil baby and the creepy doll?
Alan Ball: "We will find out what it is about that doll that's so creepy."

Alan Ball: "That cute little baby? You think he's evil?"

Will we see the shower scene with Sookie and Eric?
Alan Ball: "There will be a moment in the show where Sookie and Eric will be together in the shower. It may not be exactly what happens in the books. It may be weirder and dirtier."

What are the favorite parts of the season?
Alan Ball: "I personally enjoyed the ritualistic gang rape of Jason Stackhouse."
Ryan Kwanten: "There was actually a sense of enjoyment in that for me as well."
Rutina Wesley: "Cage-fighting."
Alexander Skarsgard: "I really enjoyed the swimming in the Sun."

What was the lake scene with Alcide and Eric like?
Anna Paquin pointed out the one-foot height difference between herself and Joe Mangianello. She said it was awkward. Also, she was scared of the wolf she had to act with right beforehand.

How do the True Blood comics enhance the show?
Alan Ball: "It's just more story in a different format."

What are the odds of a Pam-Tara romance?
Alan Ball: "I'm going to write that down and send myself an e-mail."

Will we see how Eric made Pam?
Alan Ball: "Unfortunately we won't see it this season, but you will definitely see it in season 5."

How would a re-memoryed Eric be dealt with in the vampire community?
Alan Ball: "The vampires are all going to stand together, because they're fighting a common enemy. And that enemy is Michelle Bachmann."

In answer to a completely different question about Sookie and Claudine:
Alan Ball: "Fairies are born in litters, and they're identical."

New supernatural creatures?
Spirits without bodies. Brujo-based demon creatures. More for season 5.

Will there be any more long-term waitresses at Merlotte's?
Alan Ball: "I do think working as a waitress at Merlotte's is the most dangerous job in the world."

Good times roll at 'True Blood' panel

The folks from Bon Temps, La., lived up to their town's name Friday, as fans had a very good time at the Comic-Con panel for HBO's True Blood.
The stars and fans staged a lovefest for the show, a wild ride of a story about vampires, werewolves, fairies and other supernatural creatures who live side-by-side with the human population. Witches have been added to the mix in Season 4.

Graphic Books Best Sellers: More Vampires NYTimes

It seems not a week goes by without some presence of vampires on the graphic books lists. The manga list has three titles, Volume 5 of Rosario + Vampire: Season Two, about a school filled with creates of the night (bloodsuckers and werewolves), Volume 12 of Vampire Knight (about an academy whose night students are Dracula-wannabes) and Volume 10 of Dance in the Vampire Bund (about a once safe haven for vampires off the coast of Japan). Another variation of these vampire chronicles comes in “Blood Work,” which enters our hardcover list at No. 1 this week.

Comic-Con: 'True Blood' Star Anna Paquin on 'Really Dirty Vampire Sex'

Barely five minutes into the panel that spread the key "True Blood" actors across the stage in Ballroom 20, Anna Paquin was asked if her character Sookie had a split personality. She granted that part of Sookie was rather sedate, but “part of her has really dirty vampire sex on a regular basis — with possibly multiple vampires.”

True Blood: Escaped from Hotshot, but Free of Torment?

Am I the only one still stuck in Hotshot? Jason mercifully skipped town in the last episode of True Blood, but I’m still shuddering from his three episodes in captivity. I’ve been watching heinous fictional crimes since I was a wee toddler, yet few things have disturbed me as much as Jason’s turn as “Ghost Daddy.” First off, I love True Blood. Love the writing, the cast, the stories. Alan Ball, this is your barbecue, and it tastes good. But popular TV is a very nuanced and telling social artifact, reflecting its consumers as well as its creators. The same way I would not look at the Egyptian pyramids and say “That architect must have loved triangles,” I’m not going to say, “True Blood writers are being awfully frivolous about rape.” Instead, I’m going to say: “Why did those pharaohs think they needed to be buried in pyramids?” or, to complete the analogy: “Why, amidst all the violence in True Blood and TV in general, was Jason’s abuse so disturbing?”

True Blood’s Scene-Stealer As Pam, the bitchy vampire, Kristin Bauer van Straten .

has walked off with the drama’s best lines and many of its scenes

True Blood’s resident bitch on wheels, the 100-year-old vampire Pam, may be many things—bloodthirsty, ruthless, and sartorially blessed, among them—but a crier is not the first thing that comes to mind.
Yet, Kristin Bauer van Straten, who plays Pam on the hit HBO supernatural drama, admitted that she’s prone to tearing up.
“I’m warning you: I get weepy a lot,” said Bauer van Straten, sipping a green-tea soy latte at Priscilla’s, a coffee shop in the San Fernando Valley’s Toluca Lake. “You’ll get used to it.”

Joe Manganiello: You're Gonna See Werewolf Sex

Joe Manganiello (Alcide) says going to fairyland may have been the worst real estate decision Sookie’s ever made.

“I really do believe — and some of the producers and writers agree with me — if Sookie didn't disappear, Alcide would've built that house for her,” he tells NY Mag.

“As you can see in episode three, Alcide is obviously worried. The way the door was answered, he wanted to kiss her! Being a werewolf, he's had to stomp on a lot of his impulses. All I can say is when anybody continually stomps on impulses, there's going to be a reaction. What's amazing this season is that you see those emotions and physical reactions.”

True Blood's Joe Manganiello On An Alcide-Sookie Hook-Up, Werenudity, and Working Out

On True Blood, Joe Manganiello's character, Alcide Herveaux, is a sensitive outsider with massive biceps and considerable girl troubles. Turns out they have so much in common: In real life, the actor has likewise been a sensitive outsider with massive biceps and considerable girl troubles! Vulture caught up with this easygoing tall drink of werewolf just after he finished filming season four of True Blood. In addition to giggling about the nudity, we discussed his hopes for an Alcide-Sookie hook-up, as well as his sundry extracurricular activities this summer: eating fried chicken, making his muscles more muscle-y, and hitting the karaoke bar.
What's the first thing you cheat-eat when you finish filming True Blood?
Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles! [Somberly] But I'm actually cast in a project right now [What to Expect When You’re Expecting, playing a studly photographer opposite Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez], so it looks like I have to train for it.
