I'm sad to see them arrive seperately. Have they broken up?
I'm not so sure they were ever together, based on the things I read. I remember her saying that she was young enough to just focus on her career and not feel like she has to have a serious relationship at this time in her life. I also recall him saying that long-distance relationships never work, that you always think you can make it work but you can't. I would guess they dated and were friends, pretty much like they said. Just my ole' opinion.
No no you should see the pics of them!they look at each other like there is no one else in the world.they arrived at and left the after party together so they probably just arrived seperatly because they don't want to flaunt their private life!
As I recall, they came separately to the True Blood premiere as well. I think their relationship is probably just a publicity thing; I do think they look good together though.
Definitely a couple. AP kissed him and AB when she won (no one else). SM takes her hand and guides her down steps after E interview. They arrive separately on the red carpet.
AP mentioned in interview taking up skateboarding. SM in interview with skateboard, taking up skateboarding. In addition I read she attended an event with him in England.
There is a pap pic of them shopping together. SM in crocs.
JWhitney, I agree with you. I think even if they were together at one time, maybe they aren't anymore. Like everyone else, when I saw Anna kiss Stephen on the mouth after her win, I thought, "Well, that confirms it." But upon rewatching, I just didn't get the sense they were lovers. Even his listening to her acceptance speech seemed more polite than proud of her.
Also, did Stephen not seem to flirt with the E! After Party interviewer? That surprised me. She said, "I feel like I'm going to get bitten." He looks her over and says, "That can be arranged." I, too, noticed Stephen help Anna down the stairs. But so did Sam for Rutina, and they're not dating.
I don't know. The Globes didn't answer the mystery definitively for me.
maybe they were never dating to begin with - just really good friends. The only thing that might be questionable about them dating is in a recent swedish interview - they asked him to confirm rumors about him and her dating and he would not talk about it and changed the subject....

Battery Park, thx for the pics. I'm really starting to wonder now because the pics I've seen posted of Anna kissing Stephen after the win isn't even on the mouth, but to the side of the mouth.
It's interesting, though, if the whispered showmance is really for publicity. It's subtly brilliant. Like, "Don't look at me!" Which, of course, makes people look at you.
Personally, I'm more intrigued with their denying the relationship than if they just confirmed it but kept quiet. That's why it could be such a clever strategy. Would not the interest in "are they or aren't they" wane if they simply confirmed a relationship but made it clear they weren't going to talk about it?

Thank you "Anon" - when they were seated at the globes - they were the only two TB people seated right next to each other at the table - Alan Ball was sitting across the table from them and the other TB stars were not even assigned to their table...this just confirms suspicions even more - ha ha ha -
