LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Ed Quinn ("Eureka") has been added to HBO's returning Southern vampire drama "True Blood" in a recurring role. He will play Stan, a powerful vampire from Texas.

This guy does not look geeky enough to play Stan..way too cute
That's what I thought, but who knows what he'll look like when he plays the part!
He is beautiful. I always thought that Stan would be a very handsome man that dresses like a geek. I think he will be perfect. He is just like the picture I had in my head of Stan minus the glasses and western gear.
I freaked out and for a moment misread it as Quinn (the book character) being cast... Whoa there!
I think it he will be perfect for the role. He looks like I imagined Stan as well. Great Casting call! =) Can't wait for season two!
Give him a pair of glasses and a pocket protector and he'll be great. Plus, the guy has one of those voices you could listen to for hours. Very sexy.
i actually had been thinking of him as alcide when i was reading the books... wierd that they ended up casting him on the show in a completely different role.
