Hope you're back on, Dallas! Because the Boston Herald just ran an article that blew the lid off of the Lafayette secret.
In short: It's NOT him in the car. (That leaves Miss Jeanette, it appears.) Instead, according to this reviewer, he find himself "imprisoned in hell"... or at least a good "facsimile" of it.
My current theory: Eric has kidnapped both Royce and Lafayette for their misdeeds against vampires, and is subjecting them to God-only-knows-what in Fangtasia's basement.
Here's hoping I'm TOTALLY wrong... if for no other reason than the fact that neither Sookie NOR the viewers would forgive him for hurting and/or killing Lafayette. Even I wouldn't, and I'm a card-carrying member of Team Eric.
