1. In "Fairy dust" Claude is surprised that Sookie shakes my hand and I tell him humans are too trusting. Is that the reasons why vamps don't shake hands? They are afraid of a fairy's handshake?
Charlaine:Vamps are not afraid of a fairy's handshake, but a handshake is not their custom. They consider it too human.

Pam asks:
2. Will there be any more discussion or more information about Eric's curse?
Charlaine:There will be no more discussion of the curse on Eric. I've talked about it enough.

Pam asks:
3. How come Sookie never sees ghosts of those who have died in her house? Like her Grandma and Debbie and the Weres that Eric and Bill killed?
Charlaine: Sookie doesn't see ghost.

Amelia asks:
4. Is Amelia more of a solitary witch or did she depend on her coven when she was in New Orleans?
Charlaine: Amelia did participate in her coven.

Amelia asks:
5. How well does Amelia know the Vamp and Were communities (since she does jobs for them). ie.. Did she know Sophie Ann personally or only through Hadley dating her? Had she been acquainted with Eric?
Charlaine:she did not know Sophie-Anne or Eric, and she only knows a little about the other supernatural communities.

Amelia asks:
6. Ever consider hooking Amelia and Sam up?
Charlaine: She will not hook up with Sam

Amelia asks:
7. Is Octavia's boyfriend a voodoo priest?
Charlaine: Octavia's boyfriend is another witch.

Bill asks:
8. Is Jessica going to be in the books? Will I be her sire?
Charlaine: Jessie is a show construct, and will not be in the books.

Bill asks:
9. Is Eric somewhat related to Leif Ericsson?
Charlaine: Eric is not related to Leif Ericsson.

Sookie asks:
10. In "All together dead" Pam tells Sookie about the night she was turned. She says: Eric's "last companion had struck out on her own, since children can't stay with their maker long." Does that mean there's another of Eric's childs somewhere? Will we meet her?
Charlaine:There are one or two of Eric's children left, though I don't know if we'll see them. We're more likely to see his maker.

Eric asks:
11. How did the come up with the Sookie world.
Charlaine: Eric, I built it over quite a while. I didn't realize I'd get to write another Sookie book -- it took a long time to sell the first one -- so I didn't have whole coherent world when I began writing the subsequent books.

Niall asks:
12. What is Niall real age and what is the extent of and how many supernatural abilities does he have?
Charlaine: Niall, you're almost immeasurably old and you're very powerful, though we'll never see you test the abilities you have because you mostly live in your own world.

Niall asks:
13. If you were in charge of casting who would you pick to portray Niall in True Blood and why?
Charlaine: I'd take the actor Vladimir Kulich, who sparked the character of Eric, and I'd sort of glaze him over to be Niall.

Claudine asks:
14. Why is it a big deal for Eric to fly and we all forget Bill can levitate?
Charlaine: Claudine, I have no idea, and I don't think it IS such a big deal. Flying is more useful, though.

Felicia asks:
15. What do you think of us "playing" your characters? Any advice for us?
Charlaine: Felicia, as long as you're having fun, far be it from me to protest.

Claude asks:
16. I would like to know who she would cast as Claude in True Blood?
Charlaine: Claude, I have no idea who I'd cast. Someone very body-conscious, someone who's unashamed of exhibiting that body.

Terry Bellefleur asks:
17. Early on in the series Sookie is very firmly told she would never want to meet a genie. Will we ever meet a genie? Is that what happened to Terry in the war?
Charlaine: Terry has never met a genie. I don't know if Sookie ever will.

Eric asks:
18. Does she like what the HBO series is doing with Jason's character by making him into a FOTS believer? and if so, will that story line fit into the books also? (because some of the story lines happen sooner in the series, than in the books.)
Charlaine: Eric: Yes, I like what's happening with Jason. It's logical with the storyline as they're doing it.
