I love these.

I think on the sixth time I watched this scene, I finally managed not to tear up! Wish there had been some follow-up in the next episode, besides a dream scene that was also lovely. I wonder if there will be any follow-up in Ep 11. Maybe like Eric thanking Sookie for staying with Godric.

Sharon would love to see the same on
Ep.11 we can only hope.If some how
these could be given to Eric would
be nice to.

I loved Godric's death scene.

I was also very impressed with the acting and script. When Alex got choked up and his voice got squeeky. It seemed a very true depiction of actual crying.

The exchange between Sookie and Godric before he died was writtenly beautifully. It was one of Alan Ball's best scenes in True Blood. He should be very proud.

Some folks thought the sexy dream scene that followed on the next episode was too much but I disagree. She had lots of sexy/disturbing dreams and thoughts about Bill after she drank his blood so it is true to "Sookie-verse" lore that she is now having sexy/disturbing dreams about Eric.

But I wonder, is Eric intentionally influencing her dreams can he affect content of the dreams or is he unaware?

I seriously felt like Eric was left high and dry last week.
It would be nice to have some sort of follow up(other than Sookie's dream.)

Also, I only watched that rooftop scene a few times because it just felt too personal to watch over and over. It was beautifully done.

I agree with every one about Godric,
Sookie,&Eric that was the best part of the show and those three and Ball
and the writers should get an award
for that.

Anon-
I don't think Vampires can influence the dreams of humans who have ingested their blood. I just don't think that's how it works.

If Eric had control I think those dreams would have been a lot more sexual and less about pillow talking and comoforting. In fact, I think Sookie's dreams reveal to us more about Sookie than they do about Eric.

I agree with Heather. Those dreams were Sookie driven. Besides, I'm assuming Eric was daytime dead during her dreams since Bill was sleeping during the first one and she was in the car in the daytime for the second one. I'm thinking Eric's dream would be lustier!

Sookie should at least have given Godric's discarded shirt to Eric to remember him by.
