said any thing.
Hugo gave it to her before they went to the FOTS... so they looked believable as an engaged couple.
I noticed the ring too Dallas and wondered. Maybe they figured they could get away with it since Sookie and Hugo were getting married. They just used the ring as a prop!
if they really did write in using the ring as a prop...
