Stephen Moyer Drops More True Blood: Season 3 Hints

I would suggest right now that folks that are reporting on True Blood READ THE NOVELS !

While talking with CNN's The Marquee Blog, actor Stephen Moyer dropped some hints about the status of Bill and Sookie's relationship in next year's third season of True Blood.

"I love working with Anna–I don’t think we will be working together this season only because it’s very hard to make Bill and Sookie the couple just be Bill and Sookie the couple."

"Nobody wants to watch that forever–every single drama you’ve ever watched has that thing where now you’ve watched and now let’s put him over there and see how he works with her and how she works with him…so we’ll see!"

Personally, we haven't read the original Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris, but we do know that the couple take a break in them, so this shouldn't be unexpected to fans of the series.

ready know,i think it is the way it
should be,couples can't be together
always,as things have to change.

"We do know the couple "take a break" in the novels..."

Take a break huh? Is that what we call dumping these days!?

Bill and Sookie will never be together again in the books, too much under the bridge.

As for True Blood...looks like things are heading in a similar direction (even if were taking a slightly different route).

Despite what everyone says about AB "loosely" following the books, I think he will follow his own muse. I sometimes wonder why he bought the books. And while he may flirt with Sookie and Eric getting together, I fear that he will put her back with Bill because of his friendship with AP and SM. I hope I'm wrong. I love Sookie and Eric together, at least how they are in the books and the dreams!

One other thought, I'm not even sure some of those reviewers are paying attention when they are watching the show, much less reading the books.

Well it could also be that Bill is a prisoner for almost the entire season. And even after she rescues him they are not together at the end of the book.

I really think True Blood will just be taking off this season and we will see Sookie open up to the new world of supes and the many chances for romance and adventure her new life holds for her..

That is what the book series is about - it's not a domestic or relationship story it's a serial mystery detective novel with some romantic encounters
