True Blood in Dallas, Fangtasia's basement and Scandinavia !

What ? In Season 2 we see Dallas, the Fangtasia basement and Eric's past in 10th century Scandinavia ?

Yes, Alex mentioned in yesterday video interview that there is a new set for Season 2 of the Fangtasia basement and said"we are going to Dallas"[interview here ]

Here is some new news for Season 2 from Kristin on E!

Lindsay in Houston: I cannot wait until this summer! Talk to me about True Blood!
Sookie’s power is not unique to her. She’ll meet a young Texan named Barry who rea
ds minds, and they freak each other a little when they discover each other’s powers. Also, great news for us Eric fans: We’ll be catching up with him in 10th century Scandinavia, likely when he was first turned into a vampire. Holler!

Go Ask Dallas : who are the mysterious weres in the car who bring Sookie back to the Silent Shore hotel in 'Living Dead in Dallas' ?

EA writes:

Dear Dallas-
As I was rereading Living Dead in Dallas, something caught my eye. After Sookie is treated by Dr. Josephus, she and Luna are picked up by two anonymous Werewolves. All we know is that one is male and one is female until the bottom of pg. 182 when the female who is driving asks Sookie if Eric "cross-dates". Luna replies, "You can't date a deader...come on, Deb-uh, girl!" Could that Debbie? As in Alcide's possesivemurderouspsychobitch Debbie?

Hmmm... very good catch EA !

Here is the part from the book - what do you guys think ?

"There's a vampire out front, waiting."
I almost ripped off the blindfold, before I realized that would be a really tacky thing to do. "What does he look like?"
"Very tall, blond. Big head of hair. Friend or foe?"
I had to think about that. "Friend," I said, trying not to sound doubtful.
"Yum, yum," said the driver. "Does he cross-date?"
"I don't know. Want me to ask?"
Luna and the passenger both made gagging sounds."You can't date a deader!" Luna protested. "Come on, Deb—uh, girl!"
"Oh, okay," said the driver. "Some of them aren't so bad. I'm pulling into the curb, little Milkbone."
"That would be you," Luna said in my ear.

Anna Paquin ( Sookie ) and Stephen Moyer ( Vampire Bill ) at an Oscar party !

Stars' Fair Memories from Popwrap

And staying on the couple tip, here are "True Blood" co-stars and real life lovah's -- Sookie Stackhouse and Bill Compton. I wonder if it's hard for Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer to be sexually adventurous. I mean, what beats him crawling out of the ground, ripping open her gossamer nightgown and having insane graveyard sex? No, seriously, I'm looking for suggestions.

You know you've watched too much True Blood when...

When you inform your dog that “Glamor” doesn’t work on you, as they stare you down in hopes you will drop whatever it is you are eating.

When your husband and kids start referring to you as Sookie, just to get your attention.

When you find yourself RSVP-ing to events on Facebook like Sam's Birthday Bash and Merlotte’s Mardi Gras Party and you wonder what to wear

You know you've watched too much True Blood when...you wanna get bite marks tattoos on your inner ties

When your Dr tells you that you need to start taking B-12 and folates because you are a bit anemic and you wonder “ Hmm wait, who bit me ?”

You know you've watched too much True Blood when...you understand every single southern expression on the show (and that's hard for a Brazilian)

when that really annoying person at work pisses you off, the first thought in your mind is "jihad this!"

Thanks to everyone who is sending them to me - send me you favorites !

How A Show’s Title Sequence Is Designed To Hook Viewers

Interesting look at opening titles for TV shows...below is the mention on True Blood but other TV shows are discussed.

For the True Blood opener, Jace Everett’s rhythmically raw single “Bad Things” accompanies a montage of imagery depicting nature, religion and the occult, sex, blood and death.

“I wanted a sense of the twin polarities of the need for transcendence as it plays out in the rural south — of church and sort of whipping yourself up into an evangelical frenzy, and the honky-tonk on Saturday night where you basically do the same thing only through drugs and hooking up and getting into brawls,” Ball said.

Our little Oscar winner ... Anna Paquin

Biography

Anna Helene Paquin was born on July 24th, 1982 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She has one sister and one brother. Her parents were both teachers. The family moved to New Zealand when she was four years old where she attended Hutt Intermediate School. Even though she began secondary school in New Zealand she finished high school in Los Angeles, California. She and her mother had moved to the United States after her parents divorced.

Anna began her acting career at the age of eleven in the critically acclaimed film The Piano. She won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie, which, at the time, made her the second youngest winner of the award. She followed The Piano with another highly acclaimed film Jane Eyre in 1996 and she also starred in Fly Away Home in 1996. She also later had roles in Amistad, Hurlyburly, A Walk on the Moon and She's All That. She attended Colombia University for a year but left to continue acting. She went on to appear in X-Men series as Rogue, a role which took her from child actor to teen star. In 2006 she produced and starred in Blue State, a romantic comedy about a disgruntled Democrat who follows through on a drunken campaign promise to move to Canada if George W. Bush got re-elected.

Anna continues to act in film but has also moved to stage performing in several plays in New York and London.

Whedon’s World

A new show from the creator of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”

From the New Yorker

Joss Whedon, the creator of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” its spinoff “Angel” (which was co-created with David Greenwalt), “Firefly,” and a new Friday-night show on Fox called “Dollhouse,” has a fan following that is probably more clamorously devoted than that of anyone else in the business. In interviews, he freely discusses his creative process and his frustrations with certain aspects of the entertainment industry, and acknowledges the give-and-take he has with his fans, with whom he communicates far more than famous TV figures usually do. When you look into Whedon’s world—Whedonians have a large footprint on the Web, and there is much information and analysis to take in—the image that comes to mind isn’t of worshippers before an idol but of a chatty gathering of like-minded souls, who have come together to form a community. Which isn’t to say that he isn’t duly idolized: he is, after all, often referred to on Web sites as a god, and there are those who wear T-shirts to comics conventions that say “Joss Whedon Is My Master Now.” Paradoxically—for Whedon is an avowed atheist—what they worship is his questing humanism.
