Good Morning all
We have big news from our Houston trip yesterday to hear Charlaine Harris ….
We really think some of her answers to the questions she was asked were “news worthy”
I have the entire event on video tape and I also have wonderful photographs.
We didn’t get home until 1:00 am and poor ObjectDesire had to head right out to work at 6 am.
She will be writing one of her FANTASTIC travelogues, this was a very funny trip and it will probably be reflected in her writing. ( I think I will be the butt of the joke) We will have to wait a couple of days for that ….
I will be getting up some photos and sneaks of some of CH more interesting answers soon on the blog.
By later this afternoon I will have the full 25 minutes of video up streaming (and running in a loop) life on the blog.. (It streams right on the blog- right column) http://lovingtruebloodindallas.blogspot.com/
This was Charlaine’s only public appearance in promotion of the release of the first ever hardcover version of Living Dead in Dallas (which is BEAUTIFUL) …and she will have limited appearances after Book 9 in May.

I have autographed books to give away, the first book will be given away to someone who posts a comment to one of the ‘Charlaine in Houston’ posts on the blog.

Exciting! Oh, I finished Club Dead. Loved it! I will try and get a review on sooner or later. I wish Charlaine would stop beating up Sookie, however. I almost cringe at all the pain she gets in!

Oh, Dallas! We are not worthy!! I so wish I could have been with You & Object! It would have been wonderful to be be on a road trip with the two of you! What fun we could have had on our way from Dallas to Houston to see Ms. Harris! Then to hear her speak about her books & characters....I bet there were lots of laughs in that room! I saw the movie on Facebook - lots of happy people in that room & loved the "Don't kill Bill" t-shirt! I'm sure that Ms. Harris had exciting things to say about Dallas as well. Can't wait to see a picture of that book!

It did not sound like CH gave away anything specific to her story line for the next book. I am sooo ready for May and book #9.
I hope maybe she will consider coming to Dallas at some point.

This is the best site for me to keep up with True Blood and Sookie Stackhouse books news, articles, photos. You do an excellent job with it. The books and the show are just phenomenal.

Being a true fan of TrueBlood and re-reading all of the Sookie Stackhouse books for the second time (I'm on #6 with Quinn) I can hardly wait for Season 2 to start. I also pre-ordered book #9 and await it's delivery.

I received all eight novels for my birthday, (end of October), but didn't get a chance to read any of them because of the upcoming holidays. Within the past two weeks, I have devoured the first four and have started Dead As A Doornail. Already, have preordered Charlaine's next novel. Now, if only HBO would put TB back On Demand. These late nights are gruesome! Thanks for keeping us connected.
