oh my god, is there a chance she will kill him!!!??? i will be heartbroken!!!! without the influence of the tv series' beautiful sm, bill is still my fav male creation of mrs. harris', he's so tragic and a perrenial victim of the forces around him. i hope with the closing of the sookie series this character will finally be rewarded instead of destroyed or left to eternal loneliness.

i think she is just trying to keep the tension up... like saying thinks like "bill will make something to reedem himself" etc. I want to believe... with the success of the series i think it's almost imposible that she kills a major character as Bill is in TB.
I haven't read the books yet as I ordered them online and still waiting for them to come! She better not kill him off or has she already?!? He is such a tragic character that it's just so easy to fall in love with him!!

I'd hate for her to do this too-even with everything that has come out about Bill in the books I still want a Bill/Sookie final pairing.
I'm an eric/sookie fan, and I don't want CH to kill Bill either. Even though I think the romantic relationship with bill/sookie is over, I still like the bill/sookie friendship.

I doubt CH would kill Bill off. He has too much history with too many other characters in her story. It would be too much of a loss, I think... Although, anything is possible, after all. But I wouldn't look to _True Blood_ for reassurance, either. They've already taken so many radical liberties with the books, that I don't see why CH should feel tied to the show's plot twists. At least, I very much hope her muse doesn't feel pushed around (or even vaguely influenced, for that matter) by what the show is doing to her creation. Like somebody pointed out on some board (I'm drawing a complete blank here), TB and the books are like apples and oranges.
