We still all want to know when we can BUY them !!!
We all know that True Blood is a hot vampire series on HBO.
We also know that True Blood’s main star, Anna Paquin, is an Oscar winner.
This is an honor that vampire prince, Robert Pattinson would ‘kill’ for and Kristen Stewart probably would too in their careers as young actors.
Anna Paquin is the Oscars Queen of the current vampire set. And, True Blood is a close frenemy of the Twlight crew.
With the release of True Blood’s brand new posters for season two of the show which premieres on June 14, perhaps Twilight decided to keep the vampire spotlight in their court with audiences, by leaking their poster early, to sell more books, although the film doesn’t hit until November 2oth. Go Anna Paquin and the True Blood crew.
Nice to see a bit of healthy competition in the tween vampire themed storylines being made for the screen.

I can't wait to tell a couple of my friends about the DVD release...I can't wait til the season begins!
... let the saga continues
I saw what is supposed to be the official poster for New Moon.....it looks like amateur fanfic photoshop! Which I suppose is rather poetic when you think about it ;-) Team Sookie!
I agree. When oh when can we purchase these posters!! Anna's looks great. Of course I am scoping out an Eric and possible a Bill. Bill is getting back in my good graces after book 9. Funny how Twilight is feeling the competition.
I thought almost same thing!! I'n not quite sure New Moon's poster leaked 'cause the TB posters.
My theory is this: A lot of Twilight fans are leaving that story because Sookie's series... and they wanted the hype of yesterday's DVDs release to show the poster...
I don't think Sookie is more popular, but the story inspires loyalty in the fans. It's not that easy for Twilight. It gains fans but loses a lot too, and that's because people discovers stories like Sookie's.
And about the poster, like SarahFW said, it is horrible!! You can't say it's a movie about vampires at all... and the faces can't be more photoshoped. I think I saw fan-made ones better that that.
Hopefully TB posters will be available soon!! They're really good (even though Stephen looks a bit waxy with that excess of photoshop), I want them all!!
Twilight isn't feeling any competition ! The New Moon poster was suppose to be out on that day but it was leaked out by a Washington newspaper.
I thought the New Moon poster was beautiful and I just find it funny that Sookie fans are so negative. HONESTLY IT DOESN'T MATTER WHEN TWILIGHT releases anything and it doesn't need to compete with Sookie it's SO HUGE IT DOESN'T NEED TO do that. And alot of fans aren't leaving for the sookie books. I go on forums and there are thousands of new fans every month because they just found the books. STOP MAKING THEORIES ON HERE THAT HAVE NO CREDIBILITY ! I'm a Sookie fan but JUST A BIGGER TWILIGHT FAN.
That is ridiculous. Twilight isn't threatned. And I found that more and more people are reading the Twilight books now and love them. Sorry but the Twilight story is more breathtaking then the Sookie books jmo.
OH NOES. The Twi-hards have found the post! I'm not comparing the two. I enjoy Twilight, and I am looking forward to New Moon. In my opinion, Charlaine Harris is a better writer, and the Sookie series is definately more for adults, not teenage girls. Being that I am an adult, I enjoy the Sookie series and True Blood more.
However, I have seen fan-made posters that look more professional than the official New Moon poster that was just released. Stop being butthurt, "anonymous" Twi-hards.

I do believe the poster was over 'photoshoped'. I saw it at HQ; their faces don't look natural (Jacob and Bella especially) and the background looks fake. It has other kind of light than the actors. So at the end you see a blurry background and very clear people in the poster. I saw some fan made that were so much better than this official one, really...
And the poster was leaked? Wow, kind of difficult to believe something was leaked when it appeared in a whole sheet of nationwide newspapers.
Sorry I don't agree with your opinion...
And about the rest of your comment...
With all respect you deserve... Nobody said it was threatened or have any kind of competition in the young readers market... :| I made it very clear that Twilight IS bigger than Sookie...Of course they're more popular!! The books have been like 2 years in the top 10 of best selling books...
I'm not gonna question why my comment offended you. It is very personal and I will not talk about twilight fans reactions anymore.
And obviously if you go to a Twilight forum you will find old and new fans there :S It is quite difficult to find opinions of someone that doesn't visit that site anymore....
Why don't you go to Amazon or another neutral site with reviews? There you will find all kind of people and see what I was referring in my comment. And you talk about credibility, I don't need to be a journalist to read other opinions. A lot of people says 'I'm done with this' after read book 4 or saw the movie. And that's the loyalty I was talking about. You can agree or don't, and you can say that to me, but you don't have to implied I'm not qualified to made an opinion.
Dallas, I'm very sorry I had to respond but I hope you can understand my need to answer to someone that said I needed to stop expressing myself when I wasn't being rude with my first comment (or at least I think I wasn't)... I do believe what I said and I gave my reasons... Sorry
Ana
STOPPPPPP
This is not a blog about Twilight. Talk about Twilight on a Twilight blog, please.
...let's just not have any more comments here. I can't post anything that even mentions Twilight without some kind of drama starting in comments.
I won't close comments but let's just stop
:-(
You are OK, Ana but let's just stop now. Thanks "D"
TB is no way competition for Twilight!
Especially, since Twilight sticks more to the story line of the books.
I dont think mobs of tweens would be going to see it, if they thought Bella would end up with Jacob just because the Directors like him better.
