True Blood Anna Paquin Says Sookie is "Her Own Little Action Star

Actress Anna Paquin might have endeared herself to many for her breakthrough performance in The Piano, but these days she's known as the telepathic Sookie Stackhouse on HBO's acclaimed vampire drama True Blood. The 26-year-old star has been making headlines lately for her work on the series, especially since she snagged a Golden Globe award for Best Actress in a TV Drama. What's more, she's also found romance on and off-screen with actor Stephen Moyer.Paquin was recently interviewed by Hamptons Magazine and appeared on the cover of their current Memorial Day issue. She discussed her experiences on filming True Blood, how she felt about the Golden Globe honor, and of course her boyfriend.

"Steve and I had a certain instant connection," she told the publication. "It doesn't hurt when the relationship on screen that you're trying to create is one of attraction and fascination."
