You NOW need to sign- in to comment on the blog

I have fought this.

I wanted everyone to just be able to comment freely and only asked that you sign in or sign your posts.

I just can't keep up with reminding folks to sign- in -so now you just have to.

Sorry to all of you that are so polite and always sign in ..

Thanks "d"

I would recommend that you set up a special online gmail account using your favorite screen name and then sign up as a google friend of this blog, you will automatically stay signed in for anytime you want to comment -that makes it very easy. See link below on the right.

Good idea.
It's very easy as you can use Google or OpenID (TypePad, LiveJournal, AIM).
It just seems normal to me to sign in.
Totally not a hassle.
Cheers!

Not a problem for me. =) I like it better when I can see the name of the person I'm responding to.

I agree with Jasperann and Rita.
It's so much easier to comment and address someone by their name.
And it's unfortunate that it had to come to this but I guess some people only feel comfortable saying nasty things if they're anonymous.

I think that's what finally made me decide enough-was-enough.
One more snide remark from anony

I am a LONG time poster of comments and I am glad I have always signed in to post I think all with the exception of 1 or 2 comments but I did sign my name to those when I couldn't sign in.
