Charlaine Harris to talk at the Southern Arkansas Community College

Best-selling area author to be first speaker in SouthArk Lecture SeriesArkansas Community College Lecture Series.

“A Southern Novelist Discusses Her Creative Process: An Evening With Charlaine Harris,” a free event open to the public, will be held at 7 p.m. on Sept. 17 at the SouthArk Gym at 300 S. West Ave. in El Dorado.

Harris, of Magnolia, is a Mississippi native who has been writing mysteries for more than 20 years. She published the Harper Connelly series, the Aurora Teagarden series and the Sookie Stackhouse book on which is based the TV series True Blood.
